This was a very interesting visit to that flea market. The proprietor must have indeed been emotionally ill if he was uninterested in making sales. It appears he was a major hoarder. I sure wished you could have gotten that blue table. It would have looked so pretty on your terrace. Actually, there were many things in that fea market that would have been beautiful for your home. I love your videos, Alla and with each new one, I am finding myself looking forward to them each day. Thank you for including us in your renovation journey. ❤

How nice that you got so many pretty plants and the camellia bushes on sale! Everything looks so healthy at the garden center. It's a stark contrast to the antique store and the unwell owner. I hope he can find comfort and peace. Sharing these experiences can make them more bearable and us more compassionate. Thank you for taking us with you on your day off! 👏💚🪴🌼🏵️

Good evening from east coast, South Carolina, USA. Good for you Alla for taking the day off. Keep doing this weekly. It will keep you refreshed and give you strength to carry on. It’s always a joy seeing your smiling face at the opening of your videos. Would you please share the name, number, and address, of this location? And also your address for mail? I see something I would like to purchase and have sent to you. I enjoy your videos so much! It’s like reliving my 33 years here in this 158 year old estate/homestead. I have spent 33 years and still, doing renovations on this HOME and GARDENS. Please keep it simple, yet beautiful, as you plan and reno. That market is the kind I like to go in and spend hours hunting for treasures. Lucky you.

Oh it's so sad when you see what effect boarding has on a person. There's 10's of 1000's of dollars there just rotting away and that's how it'll stay until he gets major help or passes on. We had a slavage yard much like that here and the council had to step in with court orders to force a clean up. So excited for your camellias and they'll look incredible when they're bigger 😍

We are seeing that Hoarding and Mental Health are linked. 10 years ago this man would be called "CRAZY" or "ASSENTRIC". Now we know that his mental state will not allow him to sell any of his wonderful items. If you bring him something you want to purchase he will associate value to that item and price it higher than retail or he will price it so high you just can't justify buying it. Even if you agree on a price his mental state will not allow him to sell, he will get frustrated, angry, or confrontational. All that great stuff being destroyed by rain, sun, rodents, bugs, and idiots breaking things walking thru that mess Loving the videos, just subscribed this month and watching all your Lake Come videos

Hi, I've watched all your vlogs from the very first one and including today. Ok enough already. I commened you your work but you need to focus. It is very clear you have not done this before. The summer is wonderful but an Italian winter is very cold and bitter. Ok your house has signs of rising damp, mould and has not been lived in for a very long time. You need to get your roof sorted and get rid of those bloody wasps and get it insulated. You need to get your electrics sorted and tested. You desperately need to get your heating sorted tested and running now. Otherwise you are going to get sick and also your pupper. You will end up with bronchitis, asthma and God knows what else because you are not warm and dry and you need to get your chimney sweat and certified for you insurance. This is also important for your possessions, they will smell, grow mould on them and also just be horrible The rest, the pretty stuff will come later. Don't get us wrong we love the garden centre the markets etc but someone must tap you on the shoulder and say stop. You need to be be practical and get you basics sorted first and you need to get it done right now. Best wishes😊👩‍💼

He did try and have certain sections but there was just too much stuff. I think once the garden is cleared, and you can see the actual layout maybe a water fountain would look nice. Absolutely go back to your usual charity shop, that one was terrible. have a good night, Love from NY.
