Im still kind iffy about this chick. Some things she said made sense, but towards the end of today when he asked about the phone calls is when I started not believing her. All of these people connected to the house O’Keefe was found at all were calling each other but no one actually made the calls. Everyone was butt dialing each other. From what I gathered she deleted all the phone calls she made to O’Keefe’s phone before handing it over. There is still a lot of odd things and questions that haven’t been answered for me. I haven’t made my mind up yet.

Day 15. Subject continues to post commentary videos counter to the facts. Still unclear whether it's delusion or intentional spin. Subject limits engagement in comment section to those who agree with him. Will continue observation. No intervention recommended at this time as we believe the cognitive dissonance will reach a tipping point under the pressure of further revelations. Taking bets on which day and/or which testimony / evidence.

Rick, did you miss the part at the end where she was caught deleting call records? Maybe you don't know enough background about this case but how do you find these people credible when basically every one of them is being evasive, dodgy, changing stories, and seem to have no feelings towards their supposed friend i.e. "the guy" passing?! You don't find it suspicious that a body is found on the lawn of a cop 50 ft from his house and he never comes out and no one ever goes in to investigate or search it? The investigators showed complete deference to the people they should have been investigating, the homeowners!

Misleading. He's talking about the dispatch log which the cops on the scene don't control. It's written by the dispatcher and there're differences very frequently because the dispatchers are handling several things. It's also rather irrelevant. There's no question that the cops arrived and I don't see how the specific timing of their arrival changes anything materially.

The trail is just unwatchable for me. The presentation seems incoherent and it looks like the court of appeal overruled the trail judge and let in all the "cellphone evidence" which is simply irrelevant to me. The end result is you have a poor investigation, a poor trial presentation, and a boat load of irrelevant crap being put before the jury. I'm surprised so many attorneys are jumping on the "Karen was framed" bandwagon. But, I'm also not that surprised when you consider they've got all day to watch the trial and comment on it. Seems they really don't have cases to handle in their legal practice. We call that a clue. As for Barnes, I like Viva but Barnes is pretty full of himself and I just don't care for him after listening to his abysmal take on a couple cases. I'm not even sure he knew anything about the cases but, he certainly had an opinion on them.

@@artt3165 Barnes has an ego. but think he's not bad. He does comment on cases he's not briefed on well. The DUI Guy+ lawyer is pretty good. Many of them, I don't agree with all of them and most in just parts. Expected thou. I like the cases where the differ in opinions and talk it out. Robert Gouveia on Rumble is my new favorite to watch 1st. Still like to watch the long format interviews that Shawn Ryan does. The girl that escaped North Korean is one of his best. Most of them are delta force interviews and the such. Like to see him do a Rick Interview.

You said she didn't sleep in the bed. Maybe she stayed in the SUV because she had his blood, tail light fragments and drinking glass fragments on her hair, skin, shoes and clothes from performing CPR (immediately after hitting him). She didn't want detectives to find that evidence on/in the bed. Plus, she was a bit drunk. Later, she and her friends searched for him. You said she found him, lifted up her shirt and his, then performed CPR (a second time -- in my opinion). Why? So when the detective said O'Keefe's blood, tail light and glass fragments were on her, her lawyer could reply, "Of course, because Karen did CPR to try and save him when she found him." Is there a test to prove how old O'Keefe's blood drops were on Karen? Can the medical examiner say "these old blood drops match the time of death, but new blood drops match the time when Karen 'found' him."

Jackson said there was a blanket on the couch because she slept there waiting for John to come home, so that would explain why their bed was made, rather than some prosecutor conspiracy that she made it knowing he was never coming back, etc

For most jurors this will be their first or maybe second time in an extended court proceeding. So... they're likely to see process very differently than those of us who've been there so many times we can tell what the next question is going to be or what the opposing lawyer is going to do when it's their turn to question the witness. I've looked at a bit of the trail just to be somewhat informed for comments here. My impression is the investigation wasn't that good, the prosecutor isn't that good and the judge has let in things I really don't see as being relevant. The combination of these factors makes the trail unwatchable for me because there doesn't seem to be a coherent theory of the case. Then the defense gets to throw out as much crap as they can to distract the jury. So...... I'm not gonna watch anymore of the trial but, I'll continue to watch the summaries here.

I started to believe the other side: "Rick has been a retired cop for a long time," "Rick isn't a lawyer," "Rick is old"😄. But then logic, common sense and my normal I.Q. kicked in😄: Karen ran over him. She was sober or drunk, she was angry at him or lovey-dovey, it was intentional or accidental. Pieces of her broken tail light were by his body, and perhaps pieces of his drinking glass were on her SUV. Someone wrote that it's unreasonable for the cops to off O'Keefe, dump him in their front yard, and then blame Karen🤔. I think most bad cops would've dumped him on Karen's property, at the bar or in the woods. I learned a lot from your vids., CSI and Agatha Christie😄.

All the people were drunk. The evidence supports all of them being drunk. Why not just say "We kicked him out (or whatever ) and after that I don't know what happened because I was pretty drunk." It's a lot simpler than concocting a bunch of things to "frame" Karen Read. I just don't get why EVERYBODY would want to frame the defendant.
