Not much is talked about his visits to zanskar, Ladakh. Its like it never was a buddhist kingdom, Ladakh helped bhutan in the war against tibet and paid the price by losing its kingdom and freedom.

Wonderful examples by Mingyur Rinpoche! However, when great Lamas like this are stuck in such a TIGHT TIME SCHEDULE, and some, thus feel pressured, and unable to give their carefully planned presentations - and are even interrupted, losing their stride....it seems QUITE a PITY! So I am directing this to THE PLANNERS of this occasion, and NOT the Lamas! Either have fewer Lamas next time, or MORE TIME allowed, for such a detailed and important topic as Guru Rinpoche. If you want to stay in such tight "time restrictions" then maybe do "The Life of George W. Bush!" A good presentation can be butchered, greatly lessening it's benefit to beings by modern-day "Time Restraints"!

Agreed...When it comes to academic conferences, most Himalayan Buddhists -- the Bhutanese et. al. -- are still neophytes who don't take the "professionalism" seriously (especially the "high lamas", who have been more or less conditioned to believe that every time they open their mouths, they regurgitate gems automatically). We have to watch them flub it the same way they've watched us flub Tibetan/Vajrayana Buddhism, going through the correct motions still full faux pas...

Thank you all the Rinpoches and khenpo for the life and teachings of our most precious Master, the greatest Guru Padmasambhava. 🙏🪷☸️💎🌷 The fact that not many people knows Why and How Chinese anexed the Tibet......including me and many Tibetans. So, It was all started when some extremists Sectarian, Gelupa Lamas and ministers....with the help of Chinese army they destroyed all other School.... Nyingma, Sakya, Kagyu and Bon..... destryoing their Monasteries and Guru Rinpoches statues...... thats the main reason..... How Cruel, Evil, Stupid and Narrow minded with such Big Ego these Gelupa lamas and their folowers are......Shame! Shame! Shame! Guru Rinpoche blessed the land of Tibet since 8th century.....the founder of Tibetan Buddhism......its for all school and people not just Nyingma.....So, Sad! No wonder people of Bhutan were safe guard by the great blessing of Guru Padmasambhava. These facts should be known by all. Our own people were destroying the legacy, blessing and teachings of Guru Rinpoche and our land.....What a shame 😡

As if u know everything about the greatest Guru Padmasambhava.....? I guess Not.... u simply don't have interest in listening. I never get tired of listening or learning more about Guru Rinpoche stories........ I always find new things to learn and was in great joy..... and forget about his teachings...... So vast and as Rinpoches mentioned here about Terma teachings.......reveals new teachings of him. Some people have no virtous for buddhadharma due to the karmic cause. So, I don't blame you.
