Less people about. Less cars on the road. What was not to like? I used to go for walks on a night during that time and it was pure bliss. I also remember going down to my local B&M back in winter 2022 and there was usually only 5 people in there max. I miss that so much. I've honestly been hating life post-pandemic with the amount of people about and the amount of cars on the road now, meaning I no longer cycle places like I did during the pandemic. What a pile of fcking sh!t the world has become post-pandemic. If this is normal, then screw normal. I want the lockdowns back. It was such a happier time in my life. Not to mention how nature thrived during it. Now that everyone's back out in their cars, animals have been pushed back into the forest, rarely to be seen.

This is so weird for me to say this as we are nearly approaching 4 years, as I know people have lost someone but for me who hasn't , lockdown one was one of happiest period of my life (essspeiclaly when furlough was announced and approved by my employer ). I was gyming , baking , gaming (war zone) with the mrs, using house party and teams to day connected with friends and family had a proper daily routine and got so much done around the flat , sure it was was frustrating in the beginning lining for hours in line at Sainsbury's etc just to do a quick shop. Even looking forward until Thursdays at 8pm for the NHS claps truly nostalgic for me.

I was going out on long walks and bike rides. Never once encountered the police, so was never told to go back home. With so few people about, it was pure bliss. Now everything is sh!t. Ruined by the fact there's too many cars on the road and too many people in general. I feel depressed and mentally exhausted in general most of the time now because of it. The polar opposite of how I felt during the lockdowns. I mostly go out early in the morning these days because it's the closest I can get to reliving those days.

Something needs to be done about the self-employed, my cousin has no choice but to go out and work. He's a painter and decorator and was stopped during work by the police today and they told him to leave because what he was doing wasn't "essential." Maybe it isn't essential to the police, but it is to him. He needs money to pay bills and feed his family, but now he can't do that and there are so many just like him that get zero help due to being self-employed. I can't even imagine how many people are going to be homeless after this is over.

When locked down first happened I knew was going to be okay with it. For I was on a lockdown for seven years because of a bad man. I already knew the psychological part of isolation. But this time I had more freedom, my son back with me, pregnant, and worked through it all as well. It was scary having to go into the hospital to see the doctor. Saw too many leaving without their love ones. Every once in awhile got to look back to remember what all happened in those times and watch old clips. We as a society seem to forget real fast when their life's and right back before lockdown.
