Day 1 itinerary for SANTORINI 🇬🇷 (on a budget) including where to eat and where to stay!
Welcome back to our channel! We’ve finally made it to one of our bucket list countries - Santorini Island 😍
Santorini is known for being the most expensive Greek island and so we decided to challenge ourselves and see if we could explore Santorini on a BUDGET!
It was our first time and we didn’t get many recommendations so we learnt a lot on this trip!
Our flights were booked on @ryanair for £81pp and our apart-hotel Xenones Filotera in Imerovigli was £201 for both of us so altogether we spent £181PP!! 🤯
We recommend staying in Fira/Thira as it is the hub for buses. You can get everywhere on a bus and it only costs €2-€2.50 per journey.
We decided to eat at Ammoudi Bay purely for the experience as it was once in a lifetime and we factored that cost into the rest of our trip. Would recommend if you’re a seafood lover 😍
Beaches - Perissa is quieter compared to Kamari but both are black sand beaches due to volcanic ash. Red beach is a bit of a hike to get to so unless you are very active then I wouldn’t recommend.

Was just about to ask you for some insight regarding general info ...like how expensive it can be ....is it true what they say that it is expensive...I fell in love with Greece the first time I went ....footwear...don't look like its easy on your feet

@@harrysomal7166 it is very expensive! Santorini you need to spend a lot and especially for 2 weeks you’ll need at least €700-800 and on Perissa beach there aren’t many food options unfortunately

Not sure what that means as we are Sri Lankan Tamil. We were born and raised in England so it is our real accent 😂 there are Asian people all over the world, you do know that right?
