Just wanted to point out a common problem with games today. As you mention - they keep getting better. Before games were finished products but now like a car that gets one mile to the gallon - we are supposed to be happy when they make that car get five miles per gallon - it's getting better . . . . . I grew up in an 'age' that is much different than today because we simply wouldn't put up with that stuff - you've been indoctrinated to accept it.

This labelled as an Early access, we didn't have that back in the day, but fully released games getting better/fixed 1, 2, 3 years later is disgusting.

@@vanquest5341 When one looks at things like No Man's Sky, then yeah - it needed to be fixed and I'm glad they did, but now they won't stop. I wish MMO's got the same treatment.

Yeah remember when they would come out with like 200 new games a year. New concepts, gameplay, designs, and franchises. Now they make 15 games a year and they are all sequels. People pretend sports games are even real games. They are just the exact same game from the last year with updated rosters.

The delayed games that are then released with the same fix it later mentality or the in game gambling loot crate crap. I think mobile games killed gaming. They are way more lucrative and are the same garbage over and over. There are like 6 mobile game platforms.

The butchering animals out in the field was added basically the second patch after the butchers table so it's been in for a very long time the difference between the two was that field used to only give 1 meat and practically nothing else while butcher table gave lots of meat, hide, and bones

Between you and Gameedged, it's nice to have some other dudes who enjoy survival games and like THIS one in particular. I've been playing this game since the early days of the tent POIs and I love watching the way it has evolved. It's super underrated. Keep up the good work bro.

You can use an axe on bushes to obtain 10 sticks. You only get one meat and a bone when butchering animals out in the wild. To get the full complement of meat, bone and hide, you need a butcher's table, which is now one of the tech you require from raiding towns.

Kage! Please please do many many more episodes of the infected. Watched every series uve done of it. Love how he refreshed the game so many times since launch. Keeps it intresting and a reason to do fresh starts

I think the developer made it easier to butcher animals in the early game, but with a penalty, The Butchers Table is there to get possibly more meat and bones ,and also you can only get the animal hide from there.

The map overhaul is impressive and love what they did with the game so far.

Never played this one. But I’m pretty sure I will especially with you doing the “turtorial” gameplay. One of the frustrating things about a lot of games like this is lack of explaining how to “Do Things” like crafting and “gotchas”. Thanks for doing that. It will save me a lot of time trying to figure out the best course to follow.

His 1st video on this series is the reason I bought it so I could play it.

It goes much faster if you make three small forges, that way, you can cook five rocks, and the six spot is for 5 iron fragments, that way each time around, you can have a piece of iron.

So glad you're coming back to this game. It's an awesome game, but hopefully he's ironed out the combat and bar attacks a little.

Once again Kage stops reading tooltips before getting to the end of said tooltip. "I think you can buy it from the trader's. Don't quote me on that" - end of tooltip clearly states its brought from traders. - I love your vids Kage but damn man you need to finish reading tooltips :P

If you're new to playing and thinking about taking a try at it. There's pretty much one correct way of starting and Kage just showed how that is done. Turning off attacks is prolly key to early start.

you can harvest insted of butcher on the table now, you just dont get all items you would get like skins, skinfat etc... :D nice tutorial btw, great for beginners!

I will go with the circular saw tech first, a means to have a ton of boards waiting and logs stored and prepped when needed - that is a win/win to me

this is correct you can butcher animals without a table however you get far less from it. The developer did this so you were not so reliant on the Butcher Table in the early game

all clothes armour and tools are repairable on the new repair table lol

I like the change for the tech now you can pick what you need, I would get the techs butcher table, extractor, advanced workbench then loom so you can upgrade that small backpack asap, but you do you bro

While that is a good addition I don't like the fact that a lot of the basic structures you could build before now require a tech page to unlock

the red wood trees give you 11 logs. also no knife in the game and all new tech you have to buy from the trader , if you hover over an item bottom right tells you how much it sells for per item.

I haven't been able to play since the update that added the ATV. The game will crash every time it tries to load a save or start a new game. Probably some element of my hardware or drivers that aren't 100% up to it (I do run old hardware, because I tend to spend little on things for me) , or my download may have corrupted, I haven't taken the time to check the cause. I've usually tried to get 3 of the small forges up, because that means 6 smelts at the same time, so after the first batch I will always have 5 fragments coming off the forges, so I find it very convenient for when I really need iron ingots. While I've usually set up my initial camp near water, I like to have several basins around for quick access to water, and start planting seeds early on. In my experience butchering in the field yields from 1 meat to 1/3 of the normal meat provided by table butchering (a bear will provide a lot of meat on the butcher table but a small fraction of that meat if butchered in the field without the table) and cannot provide anything else (no livers, no hides, no croc skins, etc) Fun fact, the giant trees provide a full cart of logs (11) equal to the 1 big tree and 1 small tree combined.

I always build like 15 batteries so better once are great. I also want like super expensive wind turbines that are also very efficient, like the real huge once.

best thing price wise to sell are unfortunately electrical parts with a price of 5 per. Water basins hold around 500 water.

Is the "shield/axe" speed combo fixed/nerfed? I just tried it, not working for me.

The trader locations are north-western most village near the 2 mines and the village south of the largest desert area.

This games crafting sistem and inventory is a lot like green hell, i loved that game, especially the story, i am curious where this games is gonna get to if the dev is inspired by green hell

I kind of wish they didn't show you where the caves are on the map. Would be a lot more challenging if you didn't know.

If you butcher a animal on the table you get the hide and the liver. Things you need. In the beginning wen you only need food feel butcher them. 😉

You don´t get leather, liver and bacon without the table.

Harvest without butchers table does not give you everything like with the butchers table.

I played the infected for a few hours, but I ended up refunding it. The biggest issue I had with the game is the clunky ui, grindy gameplay, and the lack of a progression system. You're just handed every blueprint upfront and the only thing preventing you from unlocking them is needing to find the items that give tech points. Also, for a game that's been out for 3 years its pretty devoid of content. I played Sunkenland's before this and that game has a ridiculous amount of content for only being on early access for a month.

Not that 7 Days to Die was super original, but it sure looks like this game copied a bunch of their homework. Not that I mind, they've got great foundations, if you then add some fun systems to it, I can see how this game could be a winner.

A lot of things are very similar to green hell

you don't get all the stuff that you would get when using a butcher table

OMG new updates including being able to click in and out from the mixer and more tech one even gives 100 lb to back back and one to give you better loot in towns so much more to the new updates one even is if you have multi items in a chest you can move all of one thing into and out of chests, no need for roosters to breed any more roosters are brown now and if in the barn will give 4 meats now, chickens make chicks without rooster and so much more things going on come play again we have a new repair table at traders and now you must make your own shield all clothes armour and tools,

how is it compared to 7d2d

is it multiplayer
