Every time I take a break at work, I go into an empty office. I break out my bible and my journal, and I just follow along. It's been an absolute blessing. Thank you. I am learning so much just from Genesis.

18:18 My two main resolutions for this year are 1: to be very cautious/ mindful about my screentime as I noticed myself wasting waaay too much time scrolling endlessly on my phone in 2023. And second: to be closer to God, learn the Bible and spend more time with Him ❤

I feel the same way! God was telling me to read His word yet the Bible overwhelmed me. First thing in the morning, I have now been listening and praying. Beautiful comment about not just asking but instead listening and honoring God. Thank you for these videos!❤

Samantha- I’ve realized that we have the power to bind Satan. Here is a healing prayer I keep close: In the name of Jesus, I take authority over every demonic spirit of fear that has come into my life. However, or wherever you gained entry, I close the door on you now, and I cast you out. I uncover you and all the thoughts and feelings you incite within me. You are here to keep me from knowing and trusting in God. You are here to keep me upset so I will continue to make fear- based decisions that keep me failing, frustrated, and fearful. For those reasons I reject you and I cast you out. I choose faith in God over you, and from this day forward, I will put my faith in God! Holy Spirit, in the place of my fears, I pray you will give me love, power, and a sound mind. I put my trust in you and thank you for my new freedom. Heal me completely of all the damage that fear has done to me and fill me with your peace. Heal all the trauma and pain the devil used as his access points into my life. In Jesus name , amen!

I'm not sure exactly what you mean when you say for the devil to be removed forever but please know that the devil is the ruler od this earth and he will always be here tempting us and testing pur faith. You should be praying for Gods strength to help you defeat him when those temptations and trials come because they will come. God never promised that when you walk with him it would be easy but he promised it would be worth it. Keep the faith and keep praying for God's strength and direction in your life.

Heart Check Promises: My children are my constant reminders of God's faithfulness. After suffering a miscarriage and years of infertility, God led my husband and I to pursue adoption. We adopted our daughter at birth in 2019. The night we found out her birth mama chose us, I had a very vivid dream where I saw my daughter's face, called her by name, and also revealed that I was pregnant. This dream came to fruition soon after our daughter's 2nd birthday when I miraculously conceived naturally. God was not done though! When I was 25 weeks pregnant, birth mama reached out and asked us to adopt her unborn baby boy, who is our daughter's full biological brother. God moved in so many ways to make this adoption possible for our family, and 6 weeks after bringing our adopted son home, I gave birth to our third child!

I am loving every minute of this! My son (5) attends a Christian school and he knows sooo much more about the word than I do. Now, I watch and take notes with the Bible study then the next day I can read the same chapters in his bible and answer most of the questions he may have! THANK YOU SOO MUCH AND GOD BLESS!♥️🙏🏼

Self-control . This year I will be praying for God to help me on two areas where I need self control. One is food and the other is money.

Yay!! I got day 3 finished!!! Some of these heart checks today, really required me to stop and think. I'm still thinking on those. And can honestly say patience has always been a struggle, I don't expect things to do be done right away, but after so long if it isn't done I start to lose my cool in the patience department. This is someting I need to work on, attentively. When I worship of course the number one motive is to please God's heart, but also to being peace and reflection to my own heart. I source my sense if identity from my family, genalogical research, and through the bible. My ambition comes from God, No I dont think I have ever benn building it on my own, (maybe areas in my life I thought I was) and of course all my plans work out or dont work out because it's what he says goes. Loved the study today and all the heart checks!!!

My goal is to draw closer to God

Thank you. On your heart check questions, what makes it hard for me is where I would expect things to happen at this very second. However, I desire to listen and submit to God’s plan. Worshiping and pleasing God is what matters to me now. The story of Noah helps me see that no matter where people come from, or what they would like they are to be treated like anybody else. A new beginning of walking closer to God is just really eye-opening to me. It is a struggle right now, but I am carrying on. My physicality is not much I pay attention to God but I try to stay focused on doing so. My identity is sort of a mixup. I desire to be dedicated to God, but at many times, I think of myself. My ambition is standing on my health now, but God is guiding me to be an inspiration to others in this issue.
