I've seen Dax speak in a lot of interviews, so that part was normal. But hearing Monica's voice and actually seeing it come out of her was so weird for a second. Like, her voice is not just a disembodied voice in my headphones. It has a physical location, and it really messed with my brain for a second 😂

Same, after like 10 episodes I finally heard her say she was Indian. I thought she sounded so white.

She claimed to be nervous it was her first talk show, but she's a damn pro! Much respect

@Luke Naoumovitch Honey Bunny, I think what you said about Dax and Kristen s marriage, is just imagined hope really. Imagined assumptions . No one can tell what truly goes on behind the closed doors of a couple or any house for sure. I think Dax is having a mid life Crisis and is dipping it somewhere else. He openly admits being bisexual, right? You can tell he REALLY overcompensates for have been Mr Mom all these years. See, I'm just assuming here :) Haven't got a clue for real. Take care Luke~

MOnice should find a partner for herself though- she has it all- great looks, great personality, and great style.

So weird seeing Dax and Monica in person, because I'm an avid Armchairy and they look absolutely nothing like they sound. But that should be expected with podcast and radio personalities.

This is how talk shows should be It should actually be like two friends just talking This is more entertaining to me than some of the more derivative "entertaining" the audience stuff another show does.

This was the absolute funniest session.

Dax just seems like he's having such a great time and loves being there.

I love that he is wearing a Babar sweatshirt, see that brought back a lot of memories for me!

1st off, Monica is Adorable- 2nd, that Tiger Dress is excellent- 3rd, Monica is SO Comfortable in front of an audience, she just swooped in and overshadowed Dax (in a good way)- it's one thing to be good on a podcast, even with famous interviews, but on a stage, with an audience, Monica was super-chill

Dude had a major hand injury, but has to carry the stigma of destroying 16 years of sobriety… I mean, why make a person feel like they’ve failed for being injured and require medication if they return to sobriety when healed? I say the clock should stop and restart as long as you keep clean again. This must be tremendously difficult.

He admitted to abusing again after his hand was healed. Thankfully he has a supportive wife and family and was able to get him help before he spiralled out of control. He shouldnt be so hard on himself though. Being in actual pain and you do need to take painkillers, its almost a given you will have a relapse. I would call this a mulligan, how about you?

@@ginadelsasso288 Agreed. I’m about 10 years sober from painkillers, and I never counted the few times I needed painkillers for surgery. Even if I took them for a week or two longer than I was suppose too, I’m not starting over my time because of that lol. I also don’t subscribe to NA though, I know it’s helped people but the cult like mentality of it creeps me out. But yeah, Dax still has 16 years under his belt. A short relapse doesn’t erase that and shouldn’t erase that. I would call that a small hiccup.
