You can't go wrong with either choice. They both work exceptionally well. The only difference I can tell is the scent and the color of the bottle.
Free & Clear just means that there is not dyes but it does still have a "light pear scent". The "regular" powerwash has a "fresh scent". Personally I prefer the scent of the powerwash free and clear.
