Fun fact... Daemons are beings of belief. Therefore, the harder you believe that you'll utterly erase a daemon, the more likely it is to happen. Hence why Commissar zealots and the Sisters of Battle are so terrifying and incorruptible.

+Kurt 104 Gameplay-wise, Commissar LORD Bernn's job is to transform basic Guardsmen info utterly terrifying ultramegadeathcommandoes just by being near them. Well maybe that's a bit of an overstatement but seriously the troop-buffs that this guy brings to the table when leveled up enough are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Having a nice handy (haha, pun) power fist doesn't hurt either - unless you're the enemy, that is.

This voice is an improvement over the DOW1 voice. It's intimidating, a little psychotic, and inspirational. As every commisars should be.

8 years on and this guy still has the best quotes of any video game characters I've seen.

Lets be honest here, even on his last breath he still devoted to his duties and giving his last order. With such commander people can follow in to the water and fire

I just noticed that the Commissar actually sounds afraid if he spots the "Relic" unit for the Tyranids even going as far as to allow Guardsmen to retreat from the area its in so "they" can work which I can assume the "they" the Commissar is referring to are the Space Marines.

I'm picturing 'they' being artillery or heavy armor myself, but it's a real testament to how nasty he knows the Tyranid relic unit to be that he will happily take on a chaos lord, but this one thing makes him suggest backing off.

Quite a proper show of intellegence, since it's better to strike nids from range if possible, either way they'll eat their losses back. It's like a Kryptmann strategy but smaller and less self-destroying.

"Leave this area! Let them work!" is his line when an allied Tyranid player casts the Tyranoform global in multiplayer, so "them" refers to the allied 'nids. (Previous line, "Beware the great Tyranid horror!", is when an _enemy_ 'nid player casts that global)

"More guts, more glory" - before attacking a cyberdemon. It only lacks "RIP AND TEAR" or more accurate "BLAM AND TEAR"

Ik that original DoW commissar was hilariously hammy but this feels like a much more legit rendition of one.

"More guts, more glory!" An underrated masterpiece of a line.

Space Marines should be *loyal* He said with algid disgust in his voice as he raised his blaster to meet the terrified chaos marine face.

The thing to remember about Commissars is that their clearance to execute is one aspect of their duty; their biggest one is to lead by example. "Kick ass, so you may accomplish deeds as awesome as this man."

No, that's a different weapon. Or faction. The Dawn of War 2 Commissar equips a Power fist, not a claw.

Alright, 6:20 also pretty good.

A good Commissar does not hesitate to make an example of those who would desert their duty. A great Commissar inspires such confidence that he never has to.

I feel strangely motivated, like I could accomplish anything. LEAD ON LORD COMMISSAR!
