    This game looks fascinating, I'm not usually a fan of dry economic games but the theme and aesthetics are really vibrant, plus Thunderworks has a 100% success rate for me so far (Haven't played RP adventures). This video convinced me to back the kickstarter. Excellent explanation of how the game works. Thank you so much!

    Great teach and playthrough! I really appreciated the way you talk your way through the game so we can understand what you are going! So Valuable! I waited to watch this until after the game was delivered. Worth the wait!

    From my vantage point, it's tough to see which areas are unclaimed and which are part of a territory. It'd be cool it the board was like parchment colored or what ever. Was the difference more visible looking at the board from an angle?

    I like the gameplay and the universe this is created in, but I really have a hard time seeing the tiles/board state from just the overhead camera. I hope that looking from a seated position they are easier to see what the board state is. Maybe if the initial board was muted in color or less saturated, or even in grays, it could be so much easier to see the colored tiles that were being placed.

    That is good feedback! We heard that from a few reviewers after mailing prototypes and made some changes to the components. The current idea for clearly separating tiles from the map can be seen in the very first image at the top of the Kickstarter page. It features large, bright yellow borders around the tiles, which makes them pop from the map below.

    @@Kirk-Dennison I had the same reaction while watching the video. I realize that actually sitting in front of physical components is different, but I almost feel like the board should not be the exact same color as the overlay tiles. Perhaps the board could be a little more washed out or even grey scale so the colorful tiles really pop?

    This kind of reminds me of Smallworld, although obviously you're not directly tied to a single faction so it's not quite the same. Do you have any kind of comparison to it?

  • @BeforeYouPlay

    @BeforeYouPlay

    Жыл бұрын

    Hi, yea it's actually quite different! Small World is primarily area majority and this is really more of an economic/stock market game. You are trying to support certain factions on the board in order to increase their value/wealth. Buy low and sell high sort of gameplay.

    Hey, I'm sorry you weren't into the last few Kickstarter games. Not every game will be for everyone, so hopefully you'll find something in the future that piques your interest. Although, I don't think there is a correlation between ones enjoyment of a kickstarter game and the fact that Monique quit her job.

    You should be more appreciative. They just saved you tons of money from investing in those kickstarters. While I don’t find every game presented interesting, I have learned some excellent games that I gladly added to my collection.
