The Jailer does stuff.. it’s just that he doesn’t dirty his hands.. it’s what his minions are for. Heck we were pawns in his plans as well. If we didn’t bring back the memories to the Primus he would have never gotten the sigil. Unlike this guy, Zovaal has the power to back up his threats. This guy is just a kid throwing a tantrum

Not to me, it only reminds me of Megatronus Prime a.k.a. The Fallen from "Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen", well in his Visage Form that is, but in his Proto-dragon Form, it reminds me more of Kil'jaeden.

I like how Iridikron doesn't treat Chromie as if she is any lesser than any other foe because of her demeanor/visage. He just talks to her with the same energy as he would anyone else.

Titans are gonna show up again, Sargeras will be cleansed, Illidan gonna be pure Night Elf again. And with Malfurion in Ardenweald he's finally gonna get Tyrande

At 1:00 / 1:01 you can see a silhouette on the right side of the portal - "the Harbinger" most likely. And just as likely that Harbinger is Xal'atath. It's not the first time we hear that the Titans really aren't as "benevolent" as they made us think they were. They've been constantly lying to us and bombarded Azeroth with propaganda for millennia, and personally I would love a future expansion that's about "Titans vs Light vs Void", and instead of Horde vs Alliance, we can choose between Light or Void... since factions don't matter as much anymore, and we've always fought together against a greater evil.

That may be the direction they could go towards. There is a cinematic with Alextrasza meeting with Vyranoth about the dragon eggs and the Titans

This scene is so much better now after watching the Blizzcon presentation

One thing I really like about Iridikron here is that it’s the first time we see him talking to a Titan-touched dragon, and he really doesn’t seem to show any open resentment towards Chromie? He kind of just talks to her like a patronizing older brother, calling her “little one” instead of “traitor” or something more aggressive. He even says “our world”. Compared to Raszageth, Fyrakk and now Vyranoth, who all seem to direct their anger towards the dragons, Iridikron seems more directed at the bigger picture, like he sorta pities anyone who managed to get manipulated by the titans (in his eyes, at least).

In a way this is similar to the 9.1 raid cinematic, with the whole baddie leaving trough a portal while monologging ominously, but the fact that he actually explains what he is doing makes this way better.

@@KirkpatrickSounds Azshara, even if she could return to her prior form, was a kaldorei/night elf. The silhouette is very much a sindorei/void elf (like Xal’atath) which looks very different from a night elf.

Raszageth: "POWAAAH!!!!" (becomes a raid boss loot pinata for a bunch of adventurers) Fyrakk: takes a nice bath in void empowered lava in the depths of Zaralek Cavern, helps the djaradin wreak havoc on the dragon isles, attempts to destroy the new world tree Roast Teldrassil style and then becomes a raid boss. Iridikron: "imma just grab some of Galakrond's essence and visit the void lords with Xal'atath, see ya in 11.0 or some other expansion (walks through a void portal)" Vyranoth: "I hate the aspects!" (Alexstrasza apologizes to Vyranoth. Sorry!) Vyranoth: "screw my brothers and the titans, im joining the aspects!" (something might happen in 10.2, no spoilers unless you already seen them)

Irdikron is not wrong and it shouldnt be a suprise. The titans literally build a machine that could wipe out all life on Azeroth. They just want the planet to be safe, until it "hatches."

So there's a secret boss fight in Ulduar where you actually show a Titan construct that we are strong enough to prevent corruption by fighting and besting it. it actually reasons in a passive speech that we're strong enough to keep Azeroth safe, so it doesn't go through with the countdown even though it could set it in motion There's definitely gray area to work with, but the Titans can be reasoned with, especially since afterwards there was a whole raid with us saving them, and preventing a Titan from being born. They're fine with us now, but 10,000 years ago I can see there being less faith in anything that could be taken over by the Old Gods via their very flesh If you also ignore the Aspects and Dragons, or the Reorigination Ray in Uldir made to surgically cut out corruption rather than wipe the planet. I feel like the Halls of Origination was the final defense when everything else was exhausted, and Ulduar being breached right after Ah'nQiraj being breached, and N'zoth's creations running around seemed like a pretty big deal imo

Ye, the wanted to create life some but only in their precise picture how everything has to be. They didnt forsee that Azeroths power infused other beings on this Planet and there for created a X variable, for all cosmic forces nd their Agents trying to get a hold onto Azeroth. Cant wait to know abit more of the whole Azeroth consumed the Element of Spirit, we know it made the other Elemental forces go rampage but thats it, theres more to it. Especially nowadays with expanded Lore.

"The Harbinger" hmm, and when Iridikron enter the portal we can see the shadow of a Void Elf, the form Xal'atath took when it got free of it's bond. Iridikron telling us that no one is to trust because they are all only serving their own goals. Every single forces of the Cosmos tries to get Azeroth on their side because if they get her, they win all wars against the others. (Sargeras himself was scared of a Borned Azeroth, and her life energy alone used by the Jailer could have rewritten and wiped out the entire cosmos.) We also know now that the Old Gods work differently than the Void Lords and work on their own. The Old Gods goal is to devour and create an endless empire across the cosmos, the Void Lord's objective is still unknown and maybe Iridikron knows about it and Xal'atath itself would maybe be an ancient Void Lord who got devoured and defeated by Azeroth's Old Gods so that they wouldn't have to work under the Cosmic Void. (The Cosmic Void and the Shadow Void as I call them : Cosmic Void = Original and Purest Force of the Void / Shadow Void = The Dark Powers used by the Old Gods and their servants.) With all these cosmic forces at hand, Denathius will probably come out soon with Nathreza. He is kind of the one who tricked the entire cosmos with the Jailer. Void, Light , Order, Chaos, Life and Death. All of them has been shown severe contact with Azeroth these last years, we maybe are approaching the climax of this cosmic war for Azeroth, but the ones who will gain her under their control, shall be the winners. Iridikron is more of a servant of Reality, seeing his home being attacked by Outside Powers just to win their endless war, he wants to put an end to it. I think Iridikron could show up to be one or the greatest Vilain(/Anti- hero maybe) of Warcraft, there's alot of potential and from what we're getting he's an extremly good antagonist who isn't classic and who actually acknowledges us and acts on consequence. Everything is near to the end, and i'm here to see it

I think it is really good and I found it very entertaining that Iridikron & co were written with a clear lack of knowledge as to what happened across Azeroth while they were comatose. For example, we can see quite clearly in this scene that Iridikron does not know what happened to the titans at the end of Legion

I do kinda understand what Iridikron is kinda getting at. The titans want the world because of the Titan Soul inside they're no doubt wanting to join their pantheon at some point (claiming their prize). Just depends on what happens should that occur. Whether it's like the Eternals movie where birthing a titan destroys the world.

Is it just me or the Titans are becoming more negligent and morally-shady as the story goes on? I mean, yeah, Sargeras was evil and an extremist, but he at least was being proactive concerning a huge threat to existence. The rest either ignores them, doesn't deal with threats permanently, or even creates new ones.

I actually like those hints, but ... Blizz needs to give us some answers/twists in the next big patch latests, or else they risk to lose substance again. We have been hinted that the Titans aren't 100 cool for a long time, so finally give us more.

Iridikron knows what the azeroth’s hero’s and champions have done in the past and how dangerous (we) are, so he’s not taking any rash actions and really taking those hero’s as a serious threat. Not disregarding due to being all powerful, like the Jailer did.

They're definitely stretching things out, but we're intended to get a lot to chew on from a little. Dude has a void dragon soul now, uses a void portal, hints at the titans coming back, teaser of Xal'atath whose character is still badass even if your spriest uses her knife's appearance. It's exciting in its own right but folks standing around talking menacingly doesn't do much for me, either

I think Iridikron is likely to at least appear in all of the next 3 expansions.. they established in the War of the Scales book that his lair/realm is underneath Northrend so he may very well live all the way to the Last Titan.. where we are... going back to Northrend.

Apparently this dragon does not know the titans sealed themselves away to contain Sargeras (one of thier own). If anyone breaks that seal, Sargeras will come first to finish the death blow he tried to do before.

That device, it's the same device that Iridikron himself, and both Vyranoth and Fyrakk uncovered back in the Secrets of the Reach cinematic of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, and he calls it the "Dark Heart", and he just used it to extract Galakrond's essence and stored it inside of it, which means... *makes a shocking discovery* ...oh my god, oh my god Xal'atath now has the Dark Heart in her possession, and she's gonna use it to extract Azeroth's world-soul and contained it! 😨😨😨😨😨

that's only if you believe the titans are the good ones. They were the ones who created abominations like G'huun. Everything the titans ever created were abominations. You can see many of them in the Titan's "containment facilities". And it is strongly hinted in the lore that the titan's are the baddies. And THEY want Azeroth's power. Maybe that is why Sargeras got upset and stood against them. Have you never wondered why Sargeras had runes of domination on his armor, like dominated Anduin, BEFORE he joined the legion? ;)

I think Iridikron is the user of the Light who is working with Xa'latath to use Azeroth as bait to kill the Titan Pantheon. This will be awesome as this means we will be seeing Illidan and Sargeras again in future conflicts in Azeroth's FIFTH WAR.

@@ryankwon8785 Argus wasn’t even full power yet. Sargeras was still corrupting him + we had aid from the Titans. We only defeated the Jailer because of plot convenience. I think if the middle section hadn’t been cut. It was us devising a way to deal with Zovaal

It's now been confirmed via Blizzcon the titans will be returning 3 expansions from now lol

Did anyone on his side tell Iridikron about how the titans are currently kinda busy dogpiling a certain leader of the Burning Legion and can't really come and help anyway?

when the names of Titan come in place the name of Sargeras and Illidan will go too.

Anyone else annoyed by Chromie's tone and optimism? Like something you'd expect out of a toddler's first cartoon "With the power of friendship" formula to win the day? Kind of feels insulting when everyone suffers through the brutality of it all and has some depth to their character but here comes this ray of sunshine acting like it's not a big deal with child like wonder.

Yeah they made her childishly cartoony this expansion, instead of the usual distracted/bubbly/intelligent gnome dragon we came to love. Nice to have her part of the main story but they're doing her kinda dirty

It is possible that Xal'atath will return in the next expansion, and she will want to become the fifth old god.

Personally i think she’s already the 5th Old god, all the things leads to that, her dialogs in BfA, the books ingame and officials, the last room of Aberrus who looks like a Old God prison…
