Omg I remember this doc! I remember seeing the film in the TV guide and setting the video recorder for the movie and this must have been 1997 I am sure. I watched this when I got in from school the next day. I was totally blown away by this movie! Love it to this day ❤️

@@paulbirkbeck1790 ah I thought it was 97 thanks for confirming :) I’m sure it was like 1am Sunday night/Monday morning on BBC 2 I think. I wore that recording out and rented every version with a different cover from the video shops in my town 🤣

I remember watching this at the time!

It was always interesting to hear George's take on his movies. He confused me in that he kept referring to the 1980s with Dawn's underlying story concepts, even though it was filmed in the 70s. Anyway George and his movies will always be legendary in their own way.

George Romero was certainly a pioneer in the independent cinema movement and a nice man RIP

George Romero keeps referring to the 80's with Dawn of the Dead, but it was released in 1979 in the USA.
