0:40-0:50. With a name like those, they sound like very peaceful places to raise a family. Lol.

"Lapse a forgotten future",a game forgotten by Pravus.

Pravus, if you didn't know already, in an update since your last playthrough, they improved fortification pathing allowing you to build walls in shallows and across fords. The ringed castle defense you did last series still works, and you can do something similar using your river as a moat. Unless it was changed in the cheese patch, walling off a river does not affect fish regeneration that I noticed, so you can even fish in your moat. I've had success in adding castle gate style defenses to any wall section needing repair after an attack. In some spawn locations you can even do a 2:1 gatehouse on a corner with 2 exterior gates separated by 2 platforms and a tower in a "V" shape leading to a single gate flanked by towers. Those gate coutryards are good places for hitching posts for sledges, ploughs and carts.

Cheese is likely less perishable than milk. that's how it works in real life, anyway. Haven't played this update, so no idea.

Pravus, you should have the tech for watch towers. Build them on far-away hills for an early warning system. They also distract attackers. To avoid people using them during an alert you can disable them, too.

actually now that i think about it: fall would be the best time for a raid because the storages are likely to be filled up with supplies for the winter. so maybe its just random that the first raid hits in fall oder its for purpose.

Pruvus, at some point your people were working at " 284% ," so shouldn't it be " 150 ," or something. They are working really hard.

Pravus, I think what making cheese does is allow you to keep it longer. I'm not certain on this, but it would make logical sense for cheese to stay longer..

a very interseting scenario would be one where yo ustar off in the paleolithic era whilst the rest of the world is already in the copper or even just the neolithic era at which point you then have to figure out how to catch up in terms of tech so as to stop dying to raiders

SO happy to see more dawn of man episodes 😭😭 i bought the game because of ur videos and it very quickly became one of my favorites

Pravus, don't set up underground mines until you have cleared the site out using a gather resource work area

I hope mods for this game will give it more cultures instead of only the stone and bronze/iron age of north-western europe. I was kinda hoping they would have maybe egypt or mycene or something aswell that would be super cool

He's definitely played city skylines. At least, I think that was the city builder he was playing a while ago. It's the one where sewage makes the river brown and you can build a space elevator.

Just checked, and yes, it was city skylines he played that time. It was after his last dawn of man playthrough, doing a city called "new gruntings"..

airborne kingdom is the sky city builder :)

Work orders are your enemy in early game. You really need to micro every job and only gather the resources you need. Biggest thing is high priority marks on your farms and animals.

Raids start in the Copper Age or Bronze Age. Don't recall sure which. Edit: oooh, Neolithic Age raid. I really did remember differently. Also, raiders didn't run away before.

wrong. The picky persons were probably the ones who invented things like cheese. If you aren't picky you'd be content by eating rodents. Which is perfectly sustainable. A grown human being can survive naked all year at the river Danube and eat muskrats and watersable roots.

this was a great game i loved playing it, too bad steam isnt around anymore and im out over a few thousands dollars in games ive bought over the years from steam and im not happy about it........................
