My first open air gig in the opening of Käpylän kiska, a local coffee kiosk near my home. I got to be the last performer in this great event filled with music, art and joyous vibes. I call this music ☕️ kiskatekno ☕️
The event was organised in collaboration with a Helsinki-based Penthouse Collective on Saturday, May 18th.
I created this exclusively for Käpylän kiska and it featured samples I recorded from the kiosk: coffee grinder & milk foaming, some squeaky old hatches, hi-hats from a bag of plastic spoons, snares from banging a shipping container, sounds of a nearby tram passing, local birds chirping and vocal samples from the kiosk's social media 🎤
