I hope the dawah team emphasized that some of their ancestors accepted Islam to give them the sense that they are not abandoning or 'betraying' their culture or ancestral lineage in accepting Islam. Some of them might be too attached to allegiance to their tribe or related issues

None of their ancestors accepted Islam precisely because they did not want to betray their culture or ancestral lineage. Some Mongols did indeed become Muslims, but these peoples descendants joined other communities. So this would be the sort of typical sophsitic half truths that makes the dawah community look bad.

@@abuzolfiqar2122That's a non issue. Just adjust it to say that other Mongolian tribes and people have accepted Islam even if it's not their direct ancestors. We feel attached to anyone that is close to us even if it's not our direct parents. Why are you making such a big fuss out of this?

Those particular people (called eagle hunters) are not mongolians, they are kazakhs. Kazakh people accepted Islam more than 1000 years ago.
