A long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, the infamous Sith lord Darth Vader was sent by Emperor Palpatine to a strange planet, newly discovered, to establish a base there. Hovering over a tropical sea, the Sith lord noticed a strange vessel in the water, half destroyed. He commanded the pilot to get him closer. Stepping out of his transport, he began to explore this odd vessel, obviously designed for long voyages on the sea. The vessel looked old, very old. Barnacles and lichen covered nearly every surface, as if the forsaken vessel had been under the water for thousands of years, and had only recently resurfaced. Striding through the seemingly abandoned vessel, he discovered what was obviously the commander's quarters. There was a massive organ that looked, unlike the rest of the ship, for he had decided it was a ship, well taken care of. Sitting on the organ was a small music box in the shape of a clam. Vader was not typically curious. But there was something about this music box that seemed so... familiar. Through the Force, Vader sensed pain and anger emanating through the music box. Thousands of years worth of betrayal. He picked up the music box and wound it up. Its tune was quiet, and short, but it was the most bittersweet thing he'd heard. It made him think of his beloved Padme, his lost children, and his betrayal of his master and brother, Obi-Wan. After the tune ended, he heard a slow, irregular thud-clunk, thud-clunk, thud-clunk behind him. Turning around, he came face to face with the most horrid... *thing* he'd ever seen. The half-human, seemingly half-octopus creature lit a pipe, took a puff, and then fixed its cold eyes on Vader. Eyes that had seen so much torment and death. It was a look Vader knew well, for he saw it in himself every time he took off his mask. After a brief moment of silence in which the two beings studied each other and recognized the power they each held, the pain they shared, the sea creature opened its mouth to utter one statement and one question. "I've heard of your kind, though I thought you a myth. Tell me, Sith lord, do you feah death?"

After listening to this, I realized the parallels between Vader and Jones and, honestly, I can't imagine a more appropriate mashup. Both Vader and Jones began their falls from glory because of their love for someone - giving up so much in order to ensure that they could be with the one they loved - and were finally tipped over the edge by the misperception that, despite all their hard work, their loves had betrayed them. Feeling such a terrible pain from this, they both then proceeded to betray their loves as well. But in spite of everything, neither Vader nor Jones stopped loving them, and they never stopped feeling the pain of losing them, which only served to push them both further into damnation...

They're polar opposites with the only thing that they have in common is that love was the deciding factor of what they would become. Padme never betrayed anakin and he became bad to what he believed would save her. Calypso betrayed davy jones when she never came to see him after he had been guiding the souls of the dead for 10 years. Anakin would later revert back to "good" at the end of his life whereas Davy jones continued to be bad till the end.

The crew comes approaching,vader ignites the saber. The crew stopped because they've never seen a stick that glows. The crew approach once more. And the darth vader force choke one of the crew. and swings the lightsaber at another. Two crew may not die but the one who gets chopped off by the light saber Was in half but the torso is still standing alive and upper body is too. Vader is confused. Davy steps in ''ENOUGH RACCUS!'' And pulls out the sword.

I think Davy Jones was the only villain in movie history I was actually rooting for because I felt bad for him. And also being controlled against his will makes it even worse and makes you feel something for him. I think that’s why he is my favorite POTC (Pirates of the Caribbean) villain.

These two songs compliment each other sooo well! Jones' adds a hauntingly beautiful tone and the Imperial March gives an unforgiving aspect. This duo definitely shows both the pain and anger that Jones and Vader have inside. I love this sooo much!

As Vader stared at the horrific man-beast, Davy Jones simply said "What? Are ya just gonna stand there and stare? Or are ya afraid of Death?", Vader simply said "I do not fear death... as I have lost the fear... a long time ago...", as Vader said this, he ignited his saber, and Davy Jones simply pulled out his sword, as the 2 started to fight. Vader quickly went to cut Jones blade, but Jones dodge this, and grabbed Vaders mechanical wrist with his Crab Claw "Hmmm... what is this technology?" Jones asked, as Vader was staring at him the whole time. Vader then went for a swing, but Jones dodged this again, and went in for a slice, but Vader cut his blade, disarming the man... or so he thought. As Jones' crew came out, they drew their swords, and pointed them at Vader. Jones simply laughed, and backed away as this was happening. Vader was furious... force pushing some away, and slicing Jones' crew dead... but the crew he sliced kept on coming back... "Hmmm... what is this curse?" Vader asked, as he simply walked forward, and attempted to stab Jones in the heart... but this didn't work out to well. Jones simply chuckled, and said "I'm a heartless wretch... now what brings ya here? Or are ya here to just fight?", Vader reply was simple... "The Emperor ordered me here... to find new allies...", Jones was sort of shocked... but then his lips went 'pop' [like Dead Mens Chest], and Jones said "Tell ya tale- I never got ya name." Vader simply said "Darth Vader...", as he said this, Vader pulled a Holographic Message, from the Emperor himself, saying "So... you must be the new Ally... if you will be willing to join the Empire, then we will gladly pay you... see you soon", as Jones looked at Vader, Jones said, "If ya be givin' me a choice, I will gladly accept the offer... but I will take a high ranking, such as Captain... and me names... Davy Jones... Captain Davy Jones"
