I got to meet Davy and Micky when I was 13. They played a gig at a casino in Mississippi and my mom and step dad drove with me from New Orleans to be there. I got hugs, kisses on the cheek, and autographs from them both. We took a picture together too! I'm 27 now and still have the picture and the Monkees' book they signed. They are two of my most prized possessions and I have never forgotten that night! - July 5th, 2002!!!

Got to meet Davy and Micky in 1994 and Davy was dreamy ! Mom took me and loved it ! I go way back in 1966 had crush on him in 1967 !

Wow!! This is awesome!! Davy looks and sounds like he has a bit of a cold here! Davy - "I am your "friend"!! - priceless to me!! I was President of the "Friends Of David Jones" fan club at the time!!! They sure loved him there in Japan!!! This is nice to see - brings back a lot of good memories of this time period!!!

His reaction to the young lady when she asked about his wife is interesting, he sure doesn't want to talk about her, I believe this would of been wife #2 at the time.

They’re jumping him with flowers and scarves at the end haha

The good people of Japan consider Davy a god

I don't think I've seen Davy ever look so subdued. And he looks a bit lost without Micky and Peter.

great interview, wonder from what year? early 80's? He did seem a little dodgy trying to avoid the question when the woman asked about his wife
