I'm obsessed with Captain Jones' lore, a most tragic yet captivating background. My heart always stops for a second when I remember how alone Captain Jones is and how he just wants to be with the woman he loved. I especially loved how throughout the movies he lashes out in anger at everyone, after being abandonded by Calipso he was truly hurt, so hurt he took it out on everone around him.

Davey Jones and his love, a beautiful duet that causes feelings of internal meloncholly, the range of emotions felt when losing someone you love so much, greif, anger, recollection, then back to greif. The first is when they leave. The second is you dealing with the aftermath, blaming everyone and everything around you, the third is you reminiscing about them, how great they were, sugar coating some of their actions, making them seem better than they really were, and the fourth is you realizing that no matter what you do, their gone. I don't know whether or not that was intentional, but I don't give a damn. Still perfect.

I can relate to Davy Jones. Last 7 years, I met "her" and we became close until the coming weeks it became awkward. And then last 5 years, she left me behind when I need her the most. I'm suffering from complete insanity because of too much workload I put on school and I'm suffering the mental condition of insomnia. Even she couldn't help me, she wants to avoid any responsibility because she is afraid... I'm both betrayed and saddened because of this revelation because she does not understand me. It felt like I was Calypso because she does not know my "nature". I'm just as unpredictable as the Gales of the Storm and as clever as the Thief of the Shadows. But aside from that, the memories I have of "her" became my guiding light in my current situation until the time I recovered. This tragic event caused me to not see her again and I locked my heart away from anyone who dares try to approach me and I give no sympathy to others unless they open up to me. This year, I'll return for sure. I'll give her my heart, if she has heart to give. Hahahahaha!

I remember I listened to a female version performed by Fialeja and I absolutely loved it. But now when I heard you guys listening in duet, I think it's a masterpiece.

I always loved the tune of the music box and the notes of the organ of this song

This never ceases to move me no matter how many years pass and how many times I listen to it...

Jesus christ this gave me goosebumps.

I feel chills when the chorus begins, epic!

I can't stop replaying this it's so sad and beautiful at the same time it makes my heart feel like it's going to explode with emotions

I don't normally get emotionally moved by music because I tend to hide it, but the power of the voices and the music was so awesome that I was almost brought to tears. Great job!

This gave me Chills, I love how you can feel the eternal connection between them.

There needs to be more stuff like this it’s magical music can and is one of the best parts of movies can only imagine. Also got Danny Elfmen vibes when the chorus comes on perfect.

Fialeja, Alex, Marc and Hans Zimmer, I personally want to thank you for this masterpiece. It has been the source of solace for many dark days in my life, and has served the purpose of light amidst the dark thoughts circling my head. Alex, Fialeja, your voices are so powerful and blend beautifully together. It reminds me of why I love the sea so dearly, as my own sort of Calypso, and your music inspires me to keep on living- even if I'm in a deep trench I'm not sure I can crawl out of. It brings tears to my eyes each time I hear it. I hope to see more collaborations between you two in the future. Marc, mixing this all together must've been somewhat of a headache. For this, I commend you. You did your job beautifully, and without you it wouldn't be as amazing as it is. And Hans Zimmer, thank you for composing this beautiful score for such a wonderful movie. Without it, none of this would have been possible. Thank you all for, essentially, saving my life. Have a wonderful day. :)
