I buy it in a heart ❤️ beat ! After I win lottery this weekend. Most dually back then wasn’t 4x4s and I drove one in worst winter conditions and handled great 👍

I have one in Michigan and she’s for sale 140,000k as of today. Absolute work machine

Had the same truck brand new minus the pin stripe and supercharger and I had a Silverado 😂. The new body came out with 8.1 and Allison I was sold man do I miss it still the prettiest thing on the road.

I would love to have been conceived in that truck! Or be born in that truck, Lookwise i feel like these trucks have a bad ass classic style that gets better with time and overall the exterior design seems more appealing then some of the newer trucks. The power from the 454 is still on par with current chevy 2500/3500 gas models, mpg may be the only negative about this truck, but not really if your daily commuter is a 4 cylinder.

@@subielife4life Well, I kept a 1500 gas burner, got 2 diesels, and then a Prius. Is slow, but I can park anywhere and I've hauled a few engines and even trailer tires. 40-50 mpg is nice too. Hop in the diesel and lay rubber if I want.

The 98 1500 were the last year of this body style, but the 2500hd and 3500hd models were made for 2 more years until the duramax was ready for the next body style in 2001! Hope that clears things up!

So you must not know much about chevy trucks? This gmt400 platform first came out in 1988 (1500 models) then 1990 for 2500/3500 models.....which means the platform was designed around 1985 or so....maybe thats why it dont look like a 2000 to you? For me it looks amazingly beautiful with a strong macho look to it and it has a timeless design that just gets better looking as the years go by.....man i love the 90s, when this truck was king of the american roads and a gallon of gas was under a dollar! What made this truck a blast to drive was that 454 vortec big block....in stock form it was fast and powerful, i can only imagine how much more stronger it feels with that supercharger.....man what a wet dream of a truck.

@@subielife4life true! But I have the one with no duallys, 4x4 and the 350. The 454 is a monster that drinks muchos gas! I'm happy with the 350! Mine is not quite as perfect looking as this beauty but I still love it!

Zergling I used to think like you, always used to say , why buy a truck if it isn't a 4x4? Then out of nowhere I was in my mid 50's and realized that I owned a 4x4 for the past twenty plus years and never once threw it in 4 wheel, I now own a two wheel drive and absolutely love it, way better on gas, much smoother ride , and way cheaper and easier to maintain, moral of the story? Never say never.

Ron Canty I've owned a 89 4dr dually 2wd. I loved it till it snowed and I couldn't drive it but I think it's the only truck i would buy again if I could find it. But I use 4x4 way 2 much
