It’s easy to forget that Davina was a kid when all this happened to her. She was what, 16 when we first met her and 18-19 when she died in season 3. In those 2-3 short years she lost loved ones, died twice, became the all powerful regent of New Orleans, was then shunned, and was used and manipulated by everyone she knew and cared about. Seeing her get her happy ending with Kol was one of the more satisfying ones for me, because after all the trauma and abuse and misery, she ended up getting everything she ever wanted. A ‘normal’ life with someone she loves

I love Davina. I think she is the strongest female character and the one who went through the most. She died like 3 times and when I thought she would finally be happy with Kol, they killed him, and then he came back to life, and they killed her. I’m glad she got the happy ending she deserved. In my opinion, Rebekah and her were the best female characters in the originals.

This shows you how much davina was a strong witch and a threat . Danielle Campbell is an amazing actress . You truly feel her pain , when she cries

I find that she has a similar character to Hope Mikaelson. Of course, both are not the same, but they still have similarities in their behavior and their decision-making.

They stopped giving that much importance to her. They had her display her pain and suffering more in the first two seasons because it was about her being a powerful teenage witch who might be able to bring the Mikaelsons down with her magick. But afterwards, they didn't have much use of her. So they killed her, then again, and again and for the two seasons, she was just a guest character there. Her emotions, her losses, those she care about, not important to shed light on.

Hope was essentially the center of the story in the fourth and last season, so they kinda just shoved "the other teen" character to the side.

When she came back to life in s4, she and Josh reunited and she tried to save Cami. I agree her friendships with Josh and Cami should've been shown more, but they still remain in her heart.

@@trishamariegarcia6271 well Davina wasn't a teen by the time last season rolled and was married to Kol by the time and living her life peacefully and was there only for Freya's wedding, she should have been in the last dinner scene before Klaus goes to kill himself, she is a part of the family now. Keelin was there too, as Freya's wife and therefore family.

Beautiful and tragic. Which is why I love Davina 💗 She never gave up on those she cared about even when she was gone she tried to help them. I cried a lot, thank you

He poisoned her and her friend Tim, who was an innocent boy and had no idea about the supernatural. She had no choice but to protect her loved ones. If there is one breed of supernatural beings from this series i wouldn't mind gone, it would be the witches, they sacrifice their own, put their magic before their family, and simply kill those who appose the 'status quo' of what it is to be a witch. And they die like it was an honor, it's only honorable if you do it by their rules, by the rules of the ancestors, witches so bias and hateful and with sticks so stuck up their ass it comes out of their thick skulls. Davina suffered because she didn't abide by the dictatorship of the ancestors. Poor Sophie suffered much the same. (SPOILERS) Betrayed by the very niece she wanted to resurrect and save, but she was back stabbed for trying to change the 'status quo', the witches of the past are mere cultists, and notice that those who stepped away from ancient ways or rules or simply tried to help other beings, wounded up dying or suffering because of it. Same goes for Genevieve, she didn't want to sacrifice hope, but what happened? the ancestors beat her till she obliged, and when she 'failed' they killed her themselves.

I agree with you. That's why I like Davina. She was the only one who said "Enough" and decided to fight back. Davina stood firm in what she believed and in her principles. Another who rebelled was Vincent. When he realized the truth he wanted to change things and he wanted to break the link between the ancestors and the living. So that everyone can live in peace and understanding. 👍

She never became a villain. She was the character who had so much bad stuff done to her by people who wanted to exploit her. She spent her time trying to protect those she cares about and standing up to the bullies.

I liked Freya when she was first introduced into the show. But as her character went on, I grew to dislike her. Nothing likeable about the character at all

I do, because I can like them and dislike what they do to others. I look at it from different perspectives which makes me not hate Davina and dislike a lot of the Mikaelsons actions. A lot of this show will make others seem like hypocrites because of the complexity of each character. For me, I can hold them accountable and admit their wrongdoings and still like them and also like Davina and admit some of her wrongdoings.

I watched the show and I know that she tried to kill them and when she did that, I understood how she felt from her perspective but obviously I didn’t want them to die. The Mikaelsons came and did nothing but create havoc so I see why she would want them to die. I only replied to this to say that I like them both.
