It's so cool that David Yost was so passionate that you would argue on what their characters would do. It's so awesome to see him and Walter Jones back. Not to mention love seeing Rocky and Kat return as well. Once and Always was awesome.

I agree. At some point, maybe, we may have to have Minh with younger Rangers carrying on Mighty Morphin. Maybe Zack and Billy have nephews, maybe Jason and Kim have kids, and add JJ. I kind of want JJ as Red Mighty Morphin despite everything...

This was a fun special. They did a lot they would never do on the show when it's on TV.

When I saw Walter break out the hip hop kido, it transported back to when I was a kid watching the episodes come out on tv. I still watch the first 3 seasons on DVD from time to time.

I love that Walter mentioned the Omega Rangers even referencing Zack. I know it’s reliant a different universe but I think there’s plenty to pull from Boom to make canon. Especially when it comes to Billy and his connection to Grace Sterling.

I actually really want to see the Boom universe cross over in live action with the old cast. That would be genius and a way to have Mmpr in the future but still in the same multiverse

I was 15 when MMPR first premiered on TV in 1993. I remember it to this day, I watched once and always and I really enjoyed it greatly. I would love to see more with original cast possibly going into turbo, zeo and other. I still want to see quantum continuum so hope it happens and darker Netflix series. This was emotional, great tribute and great nostalgia. Big 👍👍

Classic Power Rangers -- Walter wearing Black and David wearing Blue. Absolutely adorbs. I'm sure this is coming from a purely nostalgic perspective, but I loved the special. I really wished they could have roped in AJJ and ASJ, but maybe there will be a sequel.

I would love to see a series with Billy as the mentor. Maybe another in space style show where they are still trying to find zordons particles

Throughout the years David has become my favorite Ranger. Mainly because he's a genuine person. You never hear his name in drama or any bs. When I met him, he was just genuinely excited to be there and not upsell me on anything. All around great guy

This was such a good special. It was so nice seeing David and Walter back after all these years. I would definitely love to see this turn into a miniseries.

The special was enjoyable to watch, especially for us fans that have children now. It was awesome to be able to enjoy Power Rangers again alongside our little ones in a new way. I understand how difficult it can be to breakthrough and talk on somewhat serious terms with our teenagers with attitude 😮when difficulties arise. It was interesting to see that angle on the special with Billy and Zack. Was the special perfect, no but I am beyond happy that they made this and gave us another opportunity to see the heroes we loved. I think they had some ideas that could not be completely fleshed out and had to limit themselves and hold back on some things that could have explained a lot more, but they only gave you 55 minutes. Overall it had the flavor and heart of the OG show and I am thankful that David and Walter anchored the show. You guys did an amazing job with what you were allowed to do. Hope this opens the door even wider so future opportunities with the OG cast can be given more support. May the power protect you ⚡️💙💛❤️💚🖤💗

I just wish Austin was there, but Zack and Billy's return were great.

Watching the special was great!! My 8 and 2 year old daughters love power rangers as much as I do!!! It was great to share that moment with them.

Walter looks in great physical condition, he made that fight scene in the juice bar believable. And David is every bit as articulate as his character.

So glad it became a union show. I hope Cosmic Fury is union too, I want to feel good about this show that has meant so much to me.

Adam and Aisha are kind of Captain Kirk. Billy is more Tony Stark, Zack is kind of original for a Super hero being a congressman. Rocky is kinda lazy cause he's basically a lesser Carter Greyson (Who is a Goated Red Ranger) Catherine is just simply implied to be retired and a Mom and possibly a teacher if the comics are fully considered. Soul of the Dragon is said to be main universe cannon So she should be a teacher.

That's not really s reboot but I like that idea. A reboot would be say doing the boom studios version.

The reason that the actors who played Jason, Trini, and Zack left the show is because of a pay dispute. There wasn't a union back in 1993 and Saban was cheap not paying the actors enough, so the left the show after Saban refused a pay increase

However it wasn’t explained how Zack and Billy came back and the OG team reformed it was rushed a bit though I still enjoyed it.

David sounds and looks more like Billy than he did in the actual episode.

I thought the special was harmlessly heart felt fun I see potential for a cobra kai style series trinis daughter is like a miguel of power rangers

They need to develop the rangers' kids into a new team that the retro cast can mentor and cameo. JJ is too young though unless he was in his 20s in soul of the Dragon which is about 10 years in the future. One thing this special was missing was relationships and shipping. we know nothing about girlfriends' husbands' wives of the rangers. We had one line about Setria. Of Corse the older rangers can have their battles and fights they get forced into just like Cobra Kai does with Danial and Johnny. But MMPR sadly has to stay in the forefront if PR wants to get back into the mainstream so all they have to do is follow Cobra kai's example. In the process bring in a new team to promote and sell merch using MMPR. This shit ain't that HARD. They could have literally made Cosmic Fury in this fashion but blew it now they have to make a whole new series along side it to capitalized on this upward trend

I would like power rangers series to take some premise from Harry Potter movies, or more the concept of the Harry Potter movies. Like a school for wizards, they can go the school for power rangers route. You can have all of the old school power cast as teachers, teaching the next generation of world protectors, like David and Walter, among other past favorites...depending on what series you watched back in the day. I think this would be a fantastic idea, and excuse to bring back old cast members to continue to tell there stories while they tutor a new generation of Power Rangers. Sure this has been done, but I think it would make a fantastic idea..

I work in the movie industry. This movie look so under budget. The production team from producers, director, writers, prop and animation team fell short. This was supposed to be the original power rangers comeback and no one at the top cared to put enough money into it or get the right people involved to make it be awesome. The movie was just okay. The movie felt like a 1995 mmpr episode. After seeing the movie I understand why Jason, Amy and Austin refused to be in it - the overall budget was too low. It’s disappointing how politicians and political organizations can rack up millions to make political shows but no one wants to put in millions to make a fantastic movie about something we all grew up with.

Look I loved power rangers but once and always was a let down. I’m sorry but I wanted the Dragon Zord. And I want to see the Original script that had all the ogs written in. I’m sorry this would of been way better if we got the Dragon Zord and JDF one final time

bruh really? it ain't all about Tommy. JDF opted out. It's mostly hasbro's fault he got to that point but he still didn't want to do it. The special was fine and the reason i say fine isn't even because no Tommy of Dragonzord it's because the fights were poorly done for PR standards in the effects department. The hits will missing sparks and explosions. And the special was a little too short to give everyone and mihn Spotlight so they choose Billy Zack and Mihn. Good Choice but we could have used 1 scene with Rocky and Kat before they were called or what they were doing as they got called to solve that problem

I hear you. It was a let down 4 me. But the Rangers did exist pre Tommy. I wanted Kimberly. The three of them are a team with Bulk & Skull being a foil and then friends. Lord Zedd, Goldar, Scorpina, Bamboo & Squatt and Super Putties. Zedd is after a crystal to restore him to full strength, it is hidden in the juice bar that Ernie's son now owns. The three with Bulk & Skull outsmart Zedd and trap him in time ⏲️. At the end they share and erase their secret identities from Bulk & Skull 💀 ☠️. Zak goes back to being a yoga teacher in Hawaii. Billy back to being a professor in Aquitar. Kimberly goes back to being a gymnastics teacher in Switzerland 🇨🇭. Lastly, I hated the title. I would have called it Power Rangers : Return to Angel 😇 Grove.
