Indeed I enjoyed 2012 R&J far more than the 2.0. Given the stamina problem, quoting Tracy's word, this kid didn't back away from such a demanding program of NDDP. The devotion to figure skating as well as the fighting spirits of Yuzu is so admirable!

R&J program was Yuzuru's first senior debut program in 2012, and the program was a reflection of his own Sendal Rink's recovery from the Tohoku Earthquake. 2012 R&J is still more iconic than the 2.0

I think it just needs time to get everything mature. The first time, yes, it looked good, but Yuzuru struggled due to stamina problem. The second time, it got better. So basically, the older you get, the more you practice, the more you understand, then, the more mature the performance becomes. It just takes time.
