@@GrantTheKnight I know im a bit late, but bro could probably hit hard enough to completely knock someone over, if he was a soldier back in the old times, he would be a freaking beast on the battlefield. Hell, he'd be a beast of sorts on todays battlefields too. o.o

Big guy a true juggernaut, if he trained to be more agile i would consider it a true monster on the battlefield. Amazing sport, its cool it isnt fair and people can use diversity of weapons

It really depends on the hit, the person, and the weapon. They can hurt really bad but armor does it’s job a lot.

A blow to the helmet is pretty weird, they're pretty snug but it can still dent the helm or rock your world. Honestly i'd be more worried about hits from the larger weapons like a halberd to your hand/wrist or getting your feet stomped on.

The answer, A lot less than taking a blunt halbard direct to the body, but a lot more than not getting hit by a halbard to start with.

the weapon does its job at hurting, the armor does its job at making it hurt less, the adrenaline does all the rest

Daggum "testicular difficulties." Definitely don't need all them dangly bits coming loose on ya in a fight. Wrap 'em up and keep' em tight! Looks like y'all had a much more forgiving surface to work on this year. Not slipping across straight up concrete like ice skaters. Big Man Sir Gregor hung in there a long time with Arlon. His conditioning has noticeably improved if he can hang with Mr. Energizer Bunny. All in all, I see or at least I pick up on more varied moves this year over last year. Maybe I'm just paying more attention, but it seems like you guys are mixing it up more now. That means better conditioning and endurance all around, plus improved technique. This is quality entertainment. 👌

😂 people need to wear a cup. You’d be surprised there are people that don’t lol. Floor was nice and I’d argue we’ve all gotten a better gas tank overall, it makes the fights more interesting

By law, you must be named Sir Gregor if you are 7ft tall.

Easy target though considering its hard to miss him and he cannot fight. Big man shouldnt used a shield instead. Just shield bash people to the ground.

Curious, how was your messer? made? Big sad seeing it break at the hilt there. Then you are handed a small axe to fight a large opponent with a halberd lol. But you got him down! Good job. Also, how many broken bones, bruises, and head injuries occur in this sport? Looks like it could get quite painful, but I'm not sure how much y'all feel with all that armor and padding on. Any illegal target areas? like back of head, back of thigh/leg?

That one was Arlon but his sword is done for. It can be very painful at times, super tiring too. We can’t hit feet, back of knees, vertical on spine, crotch, or base of neck.

The league fee is only $50 and that’s all you need to start. A starter armor kit will run $2,500-3,000 but you don’t need it at first.

Weapons usually at least sting/pressure, but a lot of the time yeah it hurt, it can break bones and all just depends on the person and the weapon. Once you're used to the weight not so much, but mines about 90lbs with the helmet so I mean doing the same 90lbs lighter is easier.

I've always been curious if i could do this sport seeing as im 6'6 350lbs and this video answered that question! Would I have to find someone that makes sizes for large people or do most armorers accomodate large sizes?

all if not the grand majority of armors for this sports are made to fit, if you are particularly huge it may cost a bit more than a little guy's armor, but generally the most expensive part is the work, not the material, im sure you'll be able to get someone to make an armor for you, shouldnt be hard tho, good luck, and if you ever do, have fun

If the point is to get your opponent on the ground what is even the point of bringing a weapon? My guess would to just hurt your opponent to weaken him, but it really seems like it does nothing.

Armor does it’s job, but it hurts man, really bad sometimes. Can barely lift my arm today 😂. But that is the goal, pain compliance. Sometimes you can drop someone from it but that’s hard.

If I was in there, me personally I be tryna to maneuver around like sasuke in that heavy set armour and be trying to unleash haki on em ik it’s cringe but it’s better than bonking with not a thought in they heads 😤

@@bettydavis1595 we do. Shows can go different but a lot of the time it’s team vs team, then duels 1v1 from each team, then all vs all. I have the full shows on my channel if you’re interested in seeing them.

Depends on the steel type and size of the person but usually around 75-85lbs.

Bro wtf is he doing in the gregor fight? He cant ko, he cant takedown, so he should be trying to work up his opponent and exhaust him, but he constantly gives gregor breaks.
