Villa is so underrated. One the best strikers ever, yet no one talks about him. As a Liverpool fan, Torres was amazing when he played for us. If he had kept that up who knows how many records he could have broken.

What a player he was!
Prime Raul would destroy both of them. From the late 90s to 2001, Raul was the best player in the world (and you had Zidane, R9, Figo and so on playing during the same time).
As spanish and having seen their entire careers I'd say: Raul > Villa > Torres I respect anybody who thinks Villa is better, but when you look at the numbers, gotta consider Raul didn't play as a pure striker, he was always behind Ronaldo, Morientes, Higuain, Ruud, etc... yet scored as many as those.
Villa's dribbling was amazing...he was beast in Barcelona.... Messi Villa combination is so deadly.
To me Fernando Torres had the best prime among them…his Liverpool days were simply amazing…it’s sad injuries took his game away from him…3 great players!!

David Villa for me no doubt about it, especially more so at full international level. Raul not ever receiving a red card as a forward player, who has played as many matches as he has is extraordinary.

RAÚL GONZÁLEZ IS THE GOAT
without doubt Raul, he is not only the best spanish player ever; also he is in top 10 in all history, if not in top 5. greatness does not come with only stats. In addition in that time scoring was way more difficult, teams are much more balanced and powerful, not youtube era as today he should win at least 2 ballon d'or (ballon d'or awards mostly are just kind of clowning)

David Villa
Villa play style is ugly but he scores with good numbers, bit too much penaltys and last touch striker.Torres was sensible , very good creative skills, but with glass bones turn it a bit Lazy demoralized.Raúl was corageous, generous in pass, plays under the radar but very effective and magical skills.He was the best Spanish player all times in his position.

Raúl wasn’t a striker ! And was by far the better player of them 3. Put some respect on his name
I mean statistics aren't everything. If we look at it from a figurative setting Torres won Spain World Cup and Euro Cup. Not to mention he was an absolute game changer for Liverpool when he started playing for them. Won golden boot and was incredibly good on the ball. Villa is just known for playing for Barcelona which isn't necessarily the most loved club. But I'll admit it he was a good striker and very accurate in his shots. Scored many goals. Villa is a bit odd seems he's got temper issues or something judging his weird face. Raul was great for Real Madrid back in the day. But as an icon status I think Torres takes the cake. He was like if Ronaldo didn't have an ego, that talented, skillful and fast in the forward line. Legendary individual. Players like Suarez or even Haaland only think about themselves and how many goals they can score. Bit selfish and not real football. Torres reminded of someone who could be a movie star he is very inspirational and a good decent noble person in real life.

I agree except for the World Cup. Villa literally scored 5 of the only 8 goals of Spain in 2010 World Cup and Torres scored none. He only started 4 games out of 7 games.

Fernando Torres is the most overrated striker in history, he never won anything important as a figure, in the Euro he only appeared in the final, in the World Cup he was a substitute, in the Champions League he was a substitute, in the Europa League he was a substitute...
David Villa was at one point in my opinion the worst nightmare of any Goalkeeper. Raul? Overrated af.
