Not very fair to compare the books and movies. The books can dedicate whole chapters to just conversations over dinner, whereas the movie is... a movie.

Honestly I'm so disappointed that most of the Tonks scenes got cut from the Half Blood Prince. She's such an important character. And the fact their relationship all progressed off screen was so depressing haha. Only readers of the books would've understood what was happening. They're such beautiful characters, and both Natalia and David did an incredible job. I just wish they were given more screen time (or at the very least, that they filmed more scenes that got released as deleted scenes like the one from the Battle of Hogwarts).

"Our relationship" I couldn't agree more at all I wanted her in half blood price so much but no lets make the other characters more important UJDMDJXKSCJKDL my rage is over

David and Natalia are like king and queen of the tupin ship. Like they ship it and were (like almost everyone around here) mad, that they got cut of the movie. like they are both my fav ppl in the entire series and i was so excited about all the scene.... then it just wasn't and i was soo mad, that i reread the books, just to imagine them in these scenes, like in the movie.... gosh... i honestly dont wish for a remake, as i think the movies were awesome, but if they do make one, i sure hope they pay more attention to those two and some other great stuff like peeves or winky...

They completely deny Teddy Lupin's existance until the scene in the forest where Harry's like "Right after you had your son..." and like all the people that have never read the books are thinking "He had a son!??" And JKR said that Remus and Teddy Lupin were two of her favorite characters, so I don't think that she was happy with the movies. I remember thinking as I was leaving the theater after seeing the last movie. ". Somewhere out there JK Rowling is throwing herself into a wall. Poor JKR."

i adore both natalia and david. theyre both gorgeous.

I want a Harry Potter series where they put more attention on the supporting characters who we love and adore, like Tonks and Lupin. Netflix please hear my prayers.

Katy Small i wanted to agree but I cant imagine anyone else playing those character no matter what the potential are.

Tonks and Lupin was my favourite pairing, i was so.annoyed when they put hardly any of it in the films:(

These two are literally my favourite Harry Potter characters and Lupin has to be my favourite character in any book I have ever read. The filmmakers severely downplayed not only their relationship, but their roles. I was looking so forward to the scene where Harry snapped on Lupin when he was freaking out about her pregnancy. It showed so much! It showed a lot about Harry and Lupin as characters! I was so mad that scene was cut!

Tonks is one of my favorite characters and she was such an important character. The movies just didn't portray that like the books. I mean she's badass and her and Lupin's story was beautiful. I really wish they would have done just a little more with them. Nevertheless I love these 2. Really sad they died

Why is there more chemistry between those two here than the 4 movies themselves

They do actually put the last scene of them together but it's only on the deleted scenes. I do wish they did more with their relationship as well

Out of all the female characters from Harry Potter, Tonks (Natalia) is my most favorite. She's far more beautiful than Lily, Fleur, Ginny, Narcissa, Bellatrix, and Hermione. She is so beautiful that not even a Veela can seduce a man. Remus deserves Tonks, definitely because she doesn't care that he's poor, a little too old, and a werewolf. Tonks is the Beauty and Lupin is the Beast. Tonks and Lupin are my most favorite couple! They are definitely meant to be.

I missed those lil' moments, too. Their relationship was very interesting for me in the books. Loved it!

As for Natalia's statement of her part being cut, to put in a better word shrinked, I missed Tonks's moments along the books as well.

Natalia Tena is a gem. I really love that girl! Wish her the best...

i love it when natalia says "and i was like oh..." when talking about all her cut scenes. her face is just hilarious when she says that! lol.

Not sure why they even bothered casting Tonks at all since she barely has any screen-time compared to the books. Must've been very frustrating for Nat to have so much info on her character from the books and never get to use it. I also hate how Lupin went from being a main character in the third book/film to basically being reduced to a minor background character for the rest of the film series, for all the screen-time/plot lines they gave him. Hell they have him mention his son in during the Resurrection Stone scene when it was never even mentioned beforehand. I get that not everything can be squeezed into a film but what's worse is attempting to include half a plot and leave audience members confused. It definitely felt like they got sloppy with plot inclusion and continuity towards the end of the series because they know it would be a box office smasher either way.

She should have said i was sad because i didn't get to kiss david!!! LOL I LOVE DAVID!!

Tonks and Lupin were my favourite characters in the whole series and i was upset and disappointed how they ended up with just a few moments in the film. They deserve their own mini film or book! n_n

Ya, it's terrible, I was so disappointed...like "nooooooo" I wanted this scene in the nurse (Half Blood Prince), I wanted the scene Remus says to Harry and co that Tonks is pregnant and then shows harry a photo and tells him he's Teddy's godfather...at least I wanted to hear his name and know that he's a metamorphmagus and not a werewolf like Remus thought (and explained to Harry and co)... I wanted to see their story!!!

It did have a flaw. In the film it's never stated that Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are Lupin, Pettigrew, Sirius and James, but in the next film, Harry refers to Sirius and Pettigrew as Padfoot and Wormtail anyway

I couldn't agree more with both David & Natalia in their agreement that Lupin and Tonk's relationship was never really developed in the films at all (except for the small bits in "Half-Blood Prince" and "Deathly Hallows: Part 1"). I loved their relationship in the books, and to have them cut from the films is almost close to blasphemy, in my opinion. I sincerely hope that their son isn't cut from "Part 2" as he was almost mentioned in "Part 1" when Tonks was going to announce her pregnancy.

They're so relaxed and just have fun and talk about it like they're fans. :) I am so disappointed with what they did to Tonks and Lupin's relationship in the movies, though. :/ They're my absolute favorite couple, and they just rushed with it. Nothing was shown. In the books you have the process of them falling in love, and in the movie it's like, "Oh. Sweetheart? They're together now??" But all the same, I LOVE the characters and I love the movies/books. :)

I feel really sorry for Nat, almost all of her character's scenes were cut and she was barely in the films. Which is unfortunate, because she has a great on screen presence and I was really hoping to see more of her, especially in HBP.

Nat Tena is so amazing!! She is the best possible actress to play Tonks.

They(the directors) did Remus Lupin, tonks and remadora so dirty in the movies! The actors were amazing! Ilove them sm.

How they cut the Lupin/Tonks relationship is like how they cut the whole Marauder backstory in Prisoner of Azkaban. Annoying and so it doesn't make any sense unless you've read the books.

Oh, right, I always got the impression from the books that Hagrid's hut was quite close to the castle, or at least not at the bottom of the hill; from the description, the characters always seem to have a very clear view of whether the lights are on etc.

At around 2:11 it looks like Nat is mocking the interviewer like she's an idiot, don't you agree? oh well. BIG LOVE FOR NAT AND DAVID!!

They cut out all the conflict with Tonks being in love and real unhappy in HBP, Lupin finally accepting her love and returning it, and, what I think is the worst crime, completely cutting out the scene from DH in which Lupin visits the Trio in Gimmauld Place and breaks down over Tonks's pregnancy. The film makers lost so many opportunities with these characters. (And a lot other, but I'll save that rant for another day)

@scissorhandslove9 Completely agree. Their relationship was one of my favorite parts, especially in Deathly Hallows. Natalia and David were amazing as Tonks and Lupin and I was really looking forward to seeing them play out their relationship on film. I was very disappointed when the filmmakers, as you said, downplayed it in the films. They are great together and they would have been even better on film.

I miss those little moments too, Nat. I miss them too.

Tonks and Lupin are Both Among my favorite charecters and I felt sad when they weren't in the movies as mcuh as they were in the books since I was looking forward to their relationship. If they make two parts might as well make as many parts as they have to and try and fit everything in! They make a heck a lot of money either way!!!

@Bethumps Yep. I didn't happen to catch him in the Epilogue either, but I'm glad that he isn't forgotten otherwise people might have wondered what Tonks was going to tell everyone at the Dursley's house before the "7 Potters Chase".

Tonks is one of my favorite characters and I was disappointed they cut her and Lupin's storyline out of HBP! That was the worst film for me, lots of people didn't like PoA, but I really enjoyed it. To each's own.

Near the end, did David mean the other video of the last day shooting in which the kids clapped and David and Alan were there?

@Bethumps I really hope that there are some deleted scenes involving Lupin and Tonks. I liked the shot of them reaching for each other as the shield charm around Hogwarts was destroyed, and I would have liked to have seen the battle that led to their sad death (along with Fred's if they were shot but cut for time).

@Bethumps The film did seem a bit rushed to me (as awesome as it was), so I just figured that they cut out any material that didn't directly relate to Harry and his ongoing quest for the Horcruxes and the destruction of Lord Voldemort. As awesome as the final battle is, if they were going to go all out for the final film I would have hoped that they could have kept in as many of the smaller battles to show the enormity of the situation. As is, it's great, but extended it will be a masterpiece.

There is definitely not enough Tonks in the films. I think Natalia is perfect as the character and it sucks that we didn't get more of her. Some important scenes, like discovering Harry under the invisibility cloak on the train, were given to other characters.
