I loved that Donna was not in love with him!

Just doesn't make sense. Donna didn't need a man she needed a break from her life and just have fun. She found that in the doctor. Her chaotic nature and his innocent tendencies worked together so well.

Yes!! I don't get why they have to make the companions fancy the doctor now, they didn't in old who - I love that Donna and the Doctor are just best mates and they are hanging out wit each other. My favorite dynamic between the Doctor and a companion
The best companion in my opinion, she was brilliant

Seconded. Best companion!
I always loved how the Doctor and Donna were always trying to convince people they WEREN'T a couple lol.
I love when Tennant gets his nerd on. Him explaining the Sontarans to Ross was great.
Donna is one of the best companions, because she the Doctor's moral anchor, reminding and pulling him back when the doctor is hurt emotionally too bad to a point where he just wanna give up on caring for others.
What does Heaven sound like? It sounds like 4:46 That giggle is the most precious thing I've ever heard.
Catherine Tate is very infectiously hilarious. She comes across as the person you'd like to have a drink with. "At least you don't have to sleep with men" was an amazing comeback!!! Then you see her performance in Doctor Who and you realise she is a stunning actress as well. I'm very surprised her career has not gone on to more serious roles.

if you want to and are into it jump on digital theater but she is best at comedic stuff, so she sticks to what she knows. @@JeremiahEcks777
That was one of the best series. One of my neighbours worked at BBC Wales, making Daleks so the whole neighbourhood pretty much HAD to be Dr Who fans. Five minutes before each episode was shown on a Saturday evening, he would jump up on his roof and bang saucepans together as an alarm so we all knew to get indoors and watch it. Happy days!

Funny how John Hurt is in the waiting room, little did he know he'd be playing a future doctor incarnation in a few years.

Interesting how freely they discuss the storylines for the season. You wouldn't see that today, either for DW or any other tv production.
She was the best companion of the modern era of the show. She is exactly what a companion should be. Leela is my favourite from the Classic era.

I miss when we got interviews like this. All the ones with Jodie and friends are only 3-4 minutes long and they're all very vague. I'd love to see the cast and crew just rave and rant about the show and filming to their hearts content. It's not so much a Doctor Who thing as it is a general lack of interest in engaging interviews like this nowadays.

But that's not just for Doctor Who. I'm watching this interview and my jaw dropped thirty seconds in because of how freely they speak of the new season. Now every actor of every franchise isn't allowed to speak in such detail--I guess information spreads easier and more quickly nowadays than it did in 2008.
Find it funny to hear him talk about his view on animals (pre wife and kids) because just before this I watched an interview where he says he has a small dog that his family 'bullied' him into! 😂😂
4:47 David’s giggle is adorable!
Funny that John Hurt is in the room too!
Jonathan Ross very nearly hit on a major point of David's Doctor... He does not enjoy his own company lol.

will there ever be a series without an assistant? ONE YEAR LATER
Telling Tennant that he is skinny and we don't want to see him take his clothes off, was a shot under the belt from Jonathan. He can be an insensitive prick sometimes.
So is Jonathan Ross always this rude?
Darn, I thought this was something new.
Hilarious bit is that David has two dogs today! :DD
"A complete 360 degrees turn" means that Donna is back exactly where she was in the beginning, having made a complete circle. A 180 degrees turn, on the other hand, means she has now completely changed her mind.
Jonathan Ross is a great presenter 😅
Got a good laugh
904.....so far...
I'm so with David on animals, I don't mind them either but I'm not in a hurry to go out and get a dog. Having no animals means not having to pick up after them, hearing them bark in the night, etc!!
Another lovely cat lady.
It’s stupid how you can’t call a girl skinny but you can call a guy skinny. Whether you’re happy with your size you shouldn’t be called skinny or fat, whether you think it’s nice or not it can ruin someone’s confidence and body
