It did have some familiar elements but I can't find it on your channel. I recognise some sounds that have been borrowed by Steven Wilson in his side project with Tim Bowness called No-Man which is a suggested band next to this one. You have heard just a couple of songs by them so I'm not sure if that's where your memory is being sparked. I am similarly struggling to really get into Japan, yet all their associated bands are right up my alley. They are like they final pinnacle of classic prog before it morphed into modern prog.
You may want to check your videos title; there’s one Tree too many in there. Like this series!

Rain Tree Crow is Japan. 1990. My favorite song from the album. Once again Sylvian poisoned the well, even screwing over his own brother. I will always love Japan, but Sylvian was the least interesting part for me.
