C'è un figlio che sta purtroppo per morire e una madre che non si rassegna a questo. Ma al contempo, nonostante tutto, la pace interiore acquisita da lui che rivede la sua vita come in un film, fatto di immagini e sensazioni ... e si arrende. Si arrende alla sua "vecchia vita che muore mentre lui sta imparando a volare" ...

Quindi, provo a spegarmi: secondo me, Orpheus e' il suo capolavoro, e' una canzone che esiste in un interstizio tra tragedia e commedia - nel senso che i vecchi poeti dicevano una commedia, come una storia che finische buono dopo che tutto ha andrato male. Per me, Opheus e' una canzona che canta di speranza tra tempi dure, ed e' una canzona che mi da forza quando tutto va brutto. Questo e' solo mio opinione, l'accologo il tuo, volontierimente.
