Yes I completely agree with everything you said. It looks like a big crush rather than a little one as you said. David is very competitive, they both are, and yes indeed he loves to annoy Simon. I'm also aware that David puts on a persona/character like he did on Little Britain, but there's just quite simply more to it, there is something else behind the veil of jokes; a lovestruck truth. You can really see that he has real deep-rooted feelings for Simon if you look between the lines and see the gazes and the warmth. David sometimes plays it all off as a joke because that's the only way he gets to be with Simon, jokes are the only way he gets to kiss him, propose to him, and be intimately closer to him. Which is why he's kept up this flirting and courting towards Simon for around 8 years now. Thanks so much for your comment, I loved your comment! I do see your point, but Simon and I have very similar personalities in that particular area, as in refusing to stand up because you are a reserved person. I would never want to stand up and dance or mess around in front of a lot of people, I would have refused as well and I would've been even more extremely uncomfortable if someone tried to force me to do so.. I would sack them unless I liked them a hell of alot. Simon certainly likes David very much to be tolerating that, but I don't think it goes as far as getting turned on in return. However, I certainly respect your beliefs on this! :) Like I've never seen Simon look at David the way he did when he said "Thank you my David", the loving way he looked at him was just simply unreal! It looked like mutual love in that moment🥰 I was so happy for poor David after that, considering he's been pining after Simon all these years🥰

Well to be fair I edited there a tiny bit (just very little) but also.. it just become more real to Simon how much David wants him as it kinda goes past the borders of mere joking when gone to this extreme; stripping in front of millions of people for him and all. Not a shock to us, but a shock to him that David would go to this extreme length to court him.. XD and it made him highly uncomfortable.. but even so Simon keeps doing things that shows affection, like when he recently called him "My David" as you could see. They both care a lot about eachother, David especially has deep rooted feelings for Simon.
