I played Sancho Panza in 1984 at the Zeiterion Theater in New Bedford, Mass USA ... I love singing "I'm Sancho" ... my favorite role ... I worked in Burlesque in NYC with the great comedian , Joey Faye , who played Sancho for approximately 5 years on Broadway. I love this version you gentlemen are fantastic!!! Many happy memories for me ... the French is beautiful ... Jacques Brel played Don Quixote with Joan Diener in the 1960s ... I met her in the 1980s ... she was beautiful... you gentlemen: bon, bon, bon ... merci'!

Beautiful! I would very much like to see the stage version of the Man of La Mancha.

Given that he's singing this in a second language, he's actually pretty good, and an obviously excellent singer.

For the questions about the language, it is in French. This is fairly common in musical theater. If the production was written in another country, the dialogue will usually be translated while the songs themselves are left in their original language.

off course should he not be singing in Spanish? Given the character is renaissance Spanish?
