That’s amazing! I went to school with him and worked with David. He was always cheerful and happy on the field and at the job! He left a year ago and I wondered where he was, and seeing this made me so proud! He’s even wearing our uniform on the bus!

I love the character you see in college coaches nowadays, no matter how much you hate a team or who you root for, you love seeing kids like David accepted by the Clemson players and dabo who treats him as if he was his own son. My family is adopting a Down syndrome girl from China and I couldn’t be happier.

Always loved this story. This guy is such a big part of the Clemson football program. Also, coach Gene Stallings’ relationship with his son Johnny is so beautiful that it could bring a tear to a grown man’s eyes. That’s a real man. Love that guy

And this is why I’m proud to be a Clemson fan, Dabo really has created a family within the team

I cried so much watching this; always had a heart for special needs kids and I would do the very same thing as a Coach!!! Not a Clemson fan but am an athlete and fan of football!!! Blessings to this young man and his family!!! Much love & Aloha from Hawaii #gocoachswinney

I'm an Ohio State fan, so I don't know what I'm doing here. Inevitably, I don't like Clemson, but this is incredible. Props to the program and Coach Swinney for this. This is why College Football is the best sport in the world. I'm English, so you know I'm not biased.

Made me cry in a good way

I first fell in love with Clemson College when they came down to Florida back in '87. The cheerleaders were on the back of a truck smiling and laughing and cheering for their team. Such team spirit, and I caught it. I'm not a football fan, but now I'm a Clemson Fan. Now I hear about David Saville and John Sweeney and how the Clemson Football team have embraced these wonderful young men with Down Syndrome. I can hardly think of them as being handicapped, sometimes I think that we who don't love unconditionally without great effort, are the ones who are handicapped. It's like they are the ones who come closer to being like Jesus than any of us. God bless them. And God bless Clemson College. Go Tigers!!
