exactly, looking at what bethany did when she was 16 with nathan it’s probably worse like he could’ve died and she’s worried about a pill she’s lucky he and her daughter could’ve died but no im going to scream about him being back and play the victim card she’s lucky it wasn’t her who ate that pill or did i mention try to KILL HERSELF sorry rant over

Sarah, I'm sorry to tell you this but you're acting like a spoiled brat. David put up with a lot of neglect when you were pregnant with Bethany, and he tried to be gracious even when he failed. It's not your fault but it's still understandable that he would come through that having looked to the wrong sources for help and become a little dysfunctional as a result. Now it's his turn for you to be the supportive one.

I feel so bad for David he has been through a tough time and Sarah is not helping shouting at him and this mess that the platts have been through Richard hillman

This scene brought an end to the most mean spirited story in the history of this soap.

Y'all hating on Sarah because you think she was being mean I pity y'all. Look at the situation from her point of view, her own brother FAKED a suicide (which btw is NOT something to joke about) just to ruin the, what was supposed to be, best day of her life ... I would be mad too And ok yes David has had a terrible childhood but honestly so did she. She got pregnant at 13! Lost a child at 16 and was btw in the same sinking car as David bacause of their stepdad. In conclusion: Everybody was just as guilty as innocent PERIODT

Y'all can't blame her for being a bitch when she knows pretty damn well that David can sometimes act like a (no offense) psychopath. Plus the fact that he told her he would ruin her wedding. And honestly I would assume that too, her wedding was ruined (aka the day that's supposed to be the most beautiful day of ur life) by someone who said he would ruin it ... it's not that hard for someone to connect the dots.

I think she would have been devastated honestly. It's evident here she just cannot bring herself to take his suicide attempt seriously. It's quite sad really because I think he was pretty serious about it, and only lied about it to Sarah because he knew she'd never believe him anyway.

the acting is quite good

David was an idiot for putting the drugs in Bethany's doll and I think Gail only chucked David out because she was upset. But even if the suicide was a windup Sarah still shouldn't have taken it so lightly. What if David had actually drowned?, he could have died.
