About:
David Reinhardt is the son of the Babik Reinhardt and Django Reinhardt. He began his musical journey at an early age, initially inspired by the contemporary jazz music of his father. However, being the grandson of the legendary Django Reinhardt, he could not escape his grandfather’s influence either. His style is a blend of Bebop, contemporary jazz, and Gypsy Jazz. In this special series for DC Music School, he pays respects to two important influences in both his musical and personal life: Gospel music and his father Babik.

I remember seeing David when he was probably about 15. At a Django Festival in Birmingham UK, about 2000 or 2001/2. Nervous, lacking confidence, being forced into the limelight before he was clearly ready because he carried the famous name. I am so pleased for him that he has found his own path, like his father and yet is still steeped in the heritage from which he comes. May his music flourish and may he spawn many more Reinhardts.

Quelle beauté, quelle finesse et quel son ! j ai dû mal à ne pas l écouter en boucle, j aimerais savoir quel type de médiator est utilisé pour une attaque si ronde ? Probablement de l os, non?

J'aimerais savoir aussi. J'utilise du 1,5mm avec l'un des deux côté plus arrondis, ou un très épais et bien usé en ébène. Curieux de savoir ce qu'il emploie.
