You must be new to hockey. When a skill player gets in a lopsided fight with a good fighter the linesman try to break it up as soon as possible, even if the skilled player tried to start it for show.

Kudos to you for paying close attention. People probably believe Pastrnak is crazy for willing to fight Tom Wilson. But note that he never dropped the glove. He's prabably willing to take a roughing penalty to let Wilson know he doesn't like the spear from Wilson earlier with that rub of the face while Tom Wilson starts throwing punches before the other guy accepts the fight.

Marchand always looks like he's portaging a canoe over the ice.

They analyzed that hit and came to the conclusion that there shouldnt have even been a penalty on the hit. It was the same thing that happened in the playoff game when the sharks went on a 5 minute pp over an overreaction call.the problem was they think they needed to call a penalty only because it resulted in injury not that the act itself was a penalty.

@@zachbolhuis3243 That's actually a really valid perspective. It's probably the best thing to legitimately complain about in this video.

I would like to see when a goon like Wilson or any goon goes after a star & everyone pairs off then a guy on the stars team should go after the other teams best players. For instance McAvoy had Backstrom and should ve let him have it. Just saying maybe it would stop Wilson from some of this.

caps fan. in this instance bruins not dirty... just stupid. Caps were down 5-2 and just trying to get through the game. There wasn't a hit for 2 min prior to past throwing one and the back on Jensen..... then the caps woke up to hit everything in site. Bruins poked the bear and then got whacked (physically)

Gabriel Salinas no they were throwing late hits from the start of the third, ovechkin took 5 strides to hit a 180 pound Clifton at least 3 seconds after he threw the puck away, what bear did the bruins poke other than embarrassing a team that can’t handle losing a game

I hate the Bruins... In this instance, the Caps were dirty.

Yeah, the ref taking down Pasta instead of Wilson. Good call. Probably thought Pasta is much more dangerous.
