Well, it's a good formula if all you really want to do is put a bunch of funny people in close proximity and wait for comedy gold. No need to waste too much time and effort coming up with new gimmicks.

They're mainly BBC who don't need advertising to make money and so don't have to worry about how much money their programmes make, because panel shows don't really generate much profit for networks.

Ok. I live in America. When I make tea, I always rinse the tea pot out or wash it. Do folks really drink tea from a pot with mold in it? I am kinda disgusted by this.... Is it true? Yikes....

No, the french fleet was simply "at risk" of coming under influence/control of the Nazi's and the Brit's didn't trust the French to resist if Hitler made a move on it. Otherwise the fleet hadn't left port since the Vichy government took control.
