Few days ago my father passed away fighting russians. I'm immensely grateful to David for his message of support on Feb 25th '22 when this mess broke out and for continuing creating beautiful art i can calm my soul with during these harsh days. Greatest artist of our time, thank you.

It always amazes me that people have to attach "meaning" to videos, photography, songs, poems, lyrics etc. This is fine exactly as it is. And after the day I have had so far, I needed something like this to relax my brain.

I have no clue why some people complain about this. The mix and production are great. Quite perfect actually. And her voice is stunning, just like everything about her. As a singer with a very different approach i can say that her voice is perfect and perfect for this.

A lot of people have issues experiencing something truly unique and original. The delayed/layering effect used for the vocals challenges what most people are commonly used to hearing. This is how & why 95% of all music, pretty much sounds EXACTLY the same. Thank God there are artists like David Lynch, willing to challenge the “Status Quo”. 🏔🦉🏔

For the last couple of years I've been giving my all to my job and feeling empty outside of work. Before sleep, I often try to recollect what made me happy back in the day. Music certainly used to be a bigger part of my life. I would walk around with headphones in all day and then put on some music before going to bed. Somehow this piece made me feel the way I felt in those day. Definitely will come back to it again. ❤

"the red room" is the intermediary/liminal space in between thus the egyptian black and white chevron patterns which mean "in between" and the waiting room visual aesthetic.

Read up on Theosophy and learn that The Wizard of OZ is just a Theosophical parable considering the author of the novel was an underling of the founder of Theosophy. Then you realize that David Lynch is appropriately obsessed with The Wizard of OZ with his line he said in an interview “There is not a single day that goes by where I don’t think of The Wizard of OZ” then it all clicks into place. Everything that David Lynch does can be solved with an understanding of The Wizard of OZ. Enjoy

Very beautiful and haunting song. The video is suitably mysterious, though I can't help but to giggle at the 2000's flash animation style tweening going on with the little person on the right side of the room. David's style just seeps through instantly.

I leave this song playing in the background as I look through this channel. I had found his weather reports 2 days after he stopped, and realize he’s been giving weather reports in the same clothes, same haircut, same sunglasses, every day for over a year and a half. And scrolling through I noticed each thumbnail is different from the last, with the position of David’s hand, how much sun blooms through the window. Probably felt good having such a ritual everyday. And now it’s always on the internet
