the song is about confronting the shadow,which is a part of the human conciousness that stores repressed memories or fears from earlier in life..or so ive read

I always took it as an anthem to personal rebirth and "shedding skin" and becoming more true to yourself. Like a journey of the soul and transforming into something more pure and true to oneself.

Anybody who appreciates David Lynch and Tool gets a thumbs up in my book. Interesting take, ClappingF. The world needs to chill and do things out of the box once in awhile. I'm still hoping for the day when Radiohead and Tool do a supergroup album composed and recorded in a castle in Transylvania.

I agree, but I think Marcel Duchamp is to thank for the Mona Lisa's facial hair. ;)

I don't know (idk?) i appreciate art in all types of mediums and when they are congruent, all the better. I might be a bit biased seeing as I know the person who made this... but either way, I dig it. He's actually quite intelligent and a very respectable and kind person. teeheehee.

I wonder how many tool fans actually know what this song is about... I'm not a tool fan but I've always loved this song.... go ahead take a stab at it tell me what this song is about .

It's about Jung's theory about ones shadow.. you can't experience Individuation process without facing your shadow

im sure hes a good person, its just that if someone were to impale the mona lisa on michaelangelos david, some people would be offended, and thank you for not responding with a completley intangible yet angry response

an artist is an artist no matter what medium. yeah? yeah. uuuuuuhm...... yeah. I would rather call myself an artist than call myself a painter, sculptor, animator, photographer, etc. I am all. If I call myself an artist I have no limits to the medium I choose to use. That includes using other artists ideas and collaging them into my own idea. that is what is present here. HI.

tool and david lynch kick most of all known ass, dont get me wrong- but really, theres usually huge signifigance to the sound in his films, not saying its bad hacked up clown meat you have here but, idk, this would probably piss off lynch
