One of best presenters ever David has an authoritative yet friendly manner. Let’s hope he can continue broadcasting for many more years. His team up with John Peel was legendary. And he’s great on the Flashback 40. All the best Kid xx

One of the greatest DJ’s and radio/television presenters ever. I wish Kid Jensen the very best in this fight.

Just seen this 😢. Fond memories of his arm around me on the stage, whilst requesting a dedication at Brands Hatch Radio 1 Roadshow in 1976 in my Snoopy t-shirt which he was admiring 😘 All the best David. xx

David, all the best to you. We lived door to door at Hyde Park Square 1977 - 1978 with David „Kid“ Jensen. A great Radio 1 and Top of the Pops presenter that time. Every day he received the lastet records on his door steps in the house we lived. Couple of days later he presented them on the radio. We had a great time.

Sad news for one of the best DJ's on UK Radio ...best wishes to him in his fight against Parkinson's disease.

For a man who is terminally ill, David Jensen looks fantastic. I wish him well, tremendous DJ whose passion for music always shone through.

My sole hope is for the mellifluous voice of Canadian-born presenter David 'Kid' Jensen to be utilised as a means to offer hope to other sufferers of Parkinson's disease. i still hear a good trace of David 'Kid' Jensen's Canadian accent that hearkens back to a bygone era in which a uniquely Canadian version of 'Received Pronunciation' - AKA 'Canadian Dainty' - was prevalent amongst upper-crust Canadians.

DEAR David " KID " Jensen 5 mins ago i read your article in the news paper "the weekly news " never read or new about this paper .I would like to say to you " thankyou "! MY friend has parkinsons , and your artical has done wonders to help me understand his condition a little better . I would also like to say well done for saying sabbath are a heavy rock group ! I still listen to " the hero and the madman "llol.." never give up never give in , we need your kind of sin ".....

Man, I had no idea! I remember him from when I was a kid.

I thought the same since David publicly announced his health issue. I've seen a video how well it works to stop Parkinson's side affects. I'll try and find it and pass it onto him.
