Almost like Tears for fears - Mad world, upbeat but has no corolation to the meaning of lyrics, unlike Gary Jules - Mad world, that capsulates the depressing tone of the lyrics

I just sent this to my ex. I loved him and wanted him so much, while I felt in the relationship he went back and forth, played on my heartstrings and then broke my heart over and over again. I took him back relentlessly because I just loved him so much. But I realised Im a good person and I deserve so much more. But he really broke my heart in a way I have never felt before. Feel totally gutted.

I was at this event. Only just found this video after all these years ! He told a story beforehand about why he did this song. Something to do with hearing some old geezer singing the most beautiful version he'd ever heard in some seedy northern club when he was on tour, if my memory serves me correctly...

Ssen DG at a private gig in Dublin .I can tell you that man can sing and for hours if you ever get a chance to see him play .be first to get a ticket as he is a jem and a down to earth guy to go with it.

Oh god you’re so right. I broke up with a narcissist (actually I wasn’t allowed to break up with her, we got back together then she broke up with me)... and whenever I missed her I played this song without knowing why it made so much sense. Thank you.

That type of capo can knock your strings out of tune by too much pressure.. just tune it back down once it's on

I'm trying to figure out how he can reach over with his thumb and fret the E string without muting the other strings, seems almost impossible but he manages. And I agree with you on the capo but sometimes ya just have to do what ya have to do.
