Been watching your videos since I came across the ranking of Yukio Mishima's novels, as at the time I was very interested in his writing, the contradictions of his life and his ideas of death. Confessions of a Mask was powerful and a very memorable book for me. You've mentioned in a video that lately you've been more put off by his notions, and i can certainly relate. After a while reading about him, KZread started recommending videos defending Japan's Imperialism or comments by Julius Évola about the importance of Mishima's death. So, when i got annoyed by that, i went for a author that is indeed very constructive and started reading Toni Morrison by your recommendation. I'm still in the beggining of Jazz and her writing is superb, of course. That said, yes, i love them both for very distictive reasons, but its too bad your Toni Morrison's ranked video didnt get as many views. I hope you don't give up on talking about her.

Thanks for watching! Yes you're right that I was disappointed by how the Morrison video did given how passionate I am about her work. I do think that a lot of my audience is more interested in East Asian fiction than American, so that's likely where my future content will go.
