@@evalynnlopez2587 maybe but I think it because of how Emma and snow initially started out in series first season of them wasn’t about them being mother and daughter it more about two women becoming close friends and before finding out David being her dad he just the guy, she helped saved and the man her roommate was sleeping with so For them it more if fresh start. She basically lost her friendship with snow when she found she was her mom, also she always had more issues with snow giving her up then David , probably it a side affect of her giving up Henry. Also David alway been less judgmental of the two, he takes Emma flaws more in stride while snow obsessed with her being good and perfect whole Lilly storyline show how extreme snow can get ,also her reactions during frozen storyline. I not saying that snow is bad mom I feel it more dealing with her and David own childhoods reflecting their parent skills.

I LOVE seeing this. I always wanted more of these kinds of scenes. Their relationship always threw me. Like it always bugged me how willing he was to leave her and Henry in season 2 (I think). At the bean farm he was asking her to come with them and later when she said no he was still tempted to go back to their fairytale land without her saying "Emmas an adult she can look after herself". Like really dude? You long lost daughter with abandonment issues stays and you just shrug your shoulders? Still, I loved when the writers actually showed his fatherly side.

@@NoThankUBeQuiet True. As time went on you got more fatherly scenes and in season 2 they were still navigating their relationship. It just always bothered me. Snow was dead set against leaving her and Charming was like "oh well".

David is such a better parent than Snow. No hate to her, I believe she tried, but between the tow of them David was the one who stuck with her through it all. Snow faltered more than once. David is just the better parent. Also Emma is such a daddy's girl, it's so cuteee.
