David Cassidy ran rings round the others,he was the most beautiful,most talented,best voice. Simply the best. They wanted what he had but never quite managed it,poor copycats. He was THE number 1 star,shone the brightest,still is if you look up to the night sky. It!s all true,you know it !!!

I watched The Partridge Family growing up. My older sister had a couple of David Cassidy's albums. Then I had a full blown crush on Shaun Cassidy...posters in the bedroom, and had his albums, watched The Hardy Boys. Finally got to see him perform live theater at Stage West in Calgary in the early 90's I think.

I'm glad that David has the attitude he does, an appreciation that he has had it all, that he loves being himself. Lesser individuals would not be able to take the roller coaster ride that he did - and still does - and come away with a healthy sense of self and life. From all I've seen and read, and that's alot, he's always been genuine and sweet. Those words are so inadequate! But I will always see him as the most beautiful creature I've ever seen, and all these years later he is still, as stupid as I know it sounds, pure of 💓

the ironic thing about David Cassidy is that but he acts like he wanted something so much more, but that show in the 70s, with his own initiative doing concerts made him the biggest star, bigger fan club than Elvis and the Beatles! It was so easy and he wanted it to be harder, and all he had to do is smile and sing, it was so easy for him. God Bless RIP David Cassidy, xo

I grew up in that time when they were on tv and his songs were Really Good and inspiring. This was decades before MTV when a singing star could pass you on the street and you have no idea who they are , but the first note they sing, you know instantly. Music is about Hearing, not shaking T plus A on some tv with no talent except that. Get ahold of his albums and they have a majority of great uplifting pop songs that still endure to this day.

This was good and even though I enjoyed all of these guys, one of the biggest teen idols of the 70's was Donny Osmond. My 3 favorite teen idols are Donny Osmond, David Cassidy and Bobby Sherman. I did enjoy Shaun Cassidy and Andy Gibb

Loved him then and love him now. I have never heard anyone famous talk bad about David...and vice versa. I know he will die very soon ...please don't ask me how I would know that but believe me Fan's say your goodbyes now while David is still here...because he will be gone very soon..God Bless him

Suzy Muir Thats spooky..he's gone now, just like you said. I guess one could figure, because of his bad health issues, things were spiraling down, but yet I wouldnt expect it to happen just yet. Sad it is, RIP David Cassidy

Dave Mustaine had the prettiest hair when he was 15-17 years old. Google some of those pictures.

He was doing so great, and looked fantastic. Making a huge come back. So why did he start drinking....because he knew what was coming. People that are happy and in a good place do not drink. If he didn't die of organ failure, he might have ended up like his mother. He didn't want that.

I miss Leif Garrett there! He was the Teen Idol King of the late 70s. Leif and Shaun Cassidy battled it out to be the hottest Teen Idol. There was no real contest! Leif Garrett took over the Teen Idol arena and Shaun was finished as a Teen Idol...

Two good looking guys (even if David is my favourite❤) To me, being swedish, from my point of view, Shaun looks typically american high school boyish, David looks more of brittish and of rock'n roll.

But you have to give him credit for what he did after his career was over, according to this clip, he gives (gave I guess, this is an old clip and he's probably retired by now) away his salary as a policemen to society, and was probably able to, because of wise investments and not drinking or drugging his money away from his former "famedays", thats a very very noble thing to do I think.
