Wow! Just fantastic. I’m quite seriously ill at the moment but this has given me immense joy through all the pain. Bowie truly was a force and still remains so to this day. Thanx Nacho👍🏻

I meant RnR instead of his classic original sound. Seems this video was in Feb and he didn't fully appear as Ziggy until June. Is is not as refined as his classic way. peace

Dearest Nacho, You truly make life worth living ! Now that our beloved David is no longer with us you have done the wonderful thing of keeping alive one of my favorite parts of being a Bowie fan and that was the element of surprise, something DB did right up to the end. So I must thank you not only for your brilliant work archiving and presenting these seminal moments from Bowie's career but also for the effect these videos have when you post a new clip. They are so exciting to see and always seem to come out of nowhere and no matter what kind of day I'm having they always have a very positive effect on my mood and David is suddenly alive once again and all is well with the world. Primo fab stuff as always! I remember ... someone in the sixth form at my school having been at the Southampton concert that you mention and reporting back that he was blown away, bowie playing an acoustic through an a/c 30 amp miked to the pa yet transcending the setup with the power of his material (he was impressed!). All that I knew then was Space Oddity ... of course Ziggy changed all that!✌🌠

Bowie "borrowed" from various people...and what he did with what he borrowed was far greater than what the people he borrowed from could ever possibly do. (There had to be an easier way to say that!)

What really catches my attention is that they were a complete glam band. All the members of the Spiders had glamorous aesthetics. I say that it catches my attention because this fact did not start as a musical movement of several acts until the middle of the year, although many emphasize T. Rex, they really were not a complete glam band, but rather Bolan was the only member with that image, that's why no more glam bands emerged on the British scene in 1971, but rather they did so in the middle of '72, when Bowie, Roxy Music and Gary Glitter coincided, the first complete glam bands, then Sweet and other bands that They already had a previous career, they joined the trend. But here we can see something very interesting about Bowie, this is in February 72, it really was the first complete glam band, with all the members looking glamorous.

When bowie showed the boys what he wanted them to wear the objected at first, well big men from Hull would😊 Then all done up in glitter and eyeliner the spiders were formed, and how grateful we should be for that.... I agree totally about Mark and T rex...sadly missed...
