Absolutely Totally Great .... So Fab ... I'm inspired by David so I tried a YT original ... Space Boy - Maggie is hurting me ... I'm so grateful.

I miss this man. I was on my own as a teenager. I was doing a lot of acid and a fair bit of speed and smoking hash all day every day. I was becoming lost. David’s music acted as a kind of surrogate parent, a wise one that I wanted to listen to. It’s so strange, I never met him but I feel I know him. I cried when I heard he had died. I never knew him but I loved him. He shaped what I became. I’ve no doubt he saved my life.

Yeah, I get you. I was a freak and an outcast as a teenager. Never got to fit in, as so many teenagers feel. Then I discovered Bowie, who said it wasn't just okay not to fit in, it was a blessing. Anybody can follow the crowd and fit in. It takes guts to be yourself. That's life-saving.

The year was 1977. I remember walking at night with my little kid brother listening to this song on our transistor radio. My 12 year old brother was killed in a car crash 2nd august 1978. Absolutely devastating. Thanks for the priceless memories David Bowie and John Sheridan. Im an old man now but i will never forget either of you.

Seeing all David's different 'faces' makes you see how easy it was for him to change with the times and remain a fresh up to date performer..a rare thing indeed...he lives on in all our hearts...thankyou for all those wonderful songs David, you are much missed already.

This is possibly my favorite David Bowie song. So simple, but so complex and beautiful. Still can't believe he's gone. He seemed eternal. Guess that was part of his self-created myth. An immortal Rock God. Can't bring myself to listen to his last record. It's too sad, too fresh. So listening instead to my favorite Bowie songs from 1970s. RIP. A god. A legend.

I watched Bowie's last video and couldn't finish it. Too sad and he knew it was likely the last one Love and miss David "Starman" Bowie! We here on "ground control" miss him mightily.

Is our Bowie a mix of horror kind of and the best music EVER

I love how significant this song is to me. Makes me think about some things that make me feel very nostalgic and melancholic, but no matter what I can’t stop listening to it. I’ve never skipped this song. Just too good.

I am completed deflated by David's death. Of all the bands that were with me on my journey through life, David was the one who was there through every up and down, bringing me joy. RIP

This is one of the great song intros. You just never want it to end. What a genius composition.

YOU GREAT MAN!!! Biggest loss I've felt apart from my mom.. You wasn't family but my best family memories always have you playing on vinyl in the background.. Tears don't take away your loss! REST IN PEACE!

I had never really listened to much Bowie before, until about 10yrs ago, I came to the realization I couldn’t keep on going the way I was going with partying and had hit rock bottom, just going thru a music store one day I found this album and bought it n his greatest hits, and it somehow really got me thru the dark days where I couldn’t function and had to move back in with my dad. I shudder even thinking back to how bad it was and how helpless I was even to the point I get a bad taste in my mouth. It’s always sounded cheesy to me hearing people say stuff like that about any music/musician but it happened to me with David Bowie. He’s a special musician and this song perfectly embodies him and his music.

I'm from South Boston and was part of the Boys club younger than most. My neighbor we all knew as Spinner Gillespie was older would give me quarters to play this song....the he'd say play something you like. He unfortunately was accidentally killed in the blizzard of 78. Older he was a good man to he young kids like me. He loved Bowie.

Bowie.. not only one of the most talented the world has known but you also grew into a gorgeous man😊

Bowie .... What a genius! The world is poorer now.

Low was the first album of his that I ever listened too when I was at University in the 1970's. I love Warzawa, and Across the universe.

I always assumed I would go before David. He played such a pivotal role in my life, as he did in so many others. Love never dies.

I've shared this video many times, in many forums, since we all learned of the loss of David Bowie. This song was always a favorite, and your video is just excellent. Thank you.

Such a talent. Taken from us far too early, yet he will will be l loved, appreciated and remembered long after we lesser mortals are long gone and forgotten. I am now 87 and haven't much longer to enjoy this wonderful man. Kind regards to all fellow fans. England, November, 2023.

That's a long time! I've only been a fan for a quarter of that time. He seemed immortal. The death of Lou Reed really made me aware of David's mortality, but I never imagined it would happen so soon. I agree... He was one of a kind.

i saw Bowie in 1983 in New Zealand - yes he toured all over the world - and Young Americans hit me like an avalanche. Then I heard Sound and Vision and fell deeply in love. I later read the song was about the creative blank that artists get. what a genius.
