The acoustic guitar part from Moonage Daydream can be kept quite simple apart from the two barre chords which appear (F# and B minor). Other than that, you can use simple open chords and the strum pattern is quite straightforward. On the original track, it sounds like the acoustic guitar parts were played with barre shapes higher up the neck, and possibly on a 12-string.

    I believe the chorus varies a D chord and BM chord.

    Thanks very much for this tutorial, I love it. Being able to see the tab and finger positions simultaneously makes it easy to follow and learn. The best teaching format I’ve seen : )
