When I was 14 I was so obsessed with Bowie and all the looks from the 70s. I tried to be him. Now I am old and the obsession's gone but I still remember how strong that spell was. Back in the 80s there were no interviews like this around ... no internet ... just books with Bowie quotes and fantastic photos. Maybe that made him more enigmatic because you were not over dosed on bowie and had to imagine more about his life .

Hi ! I'm a big fan of David Bowie, and I've read in an article, in a guitar magazine, that first, when the rythmic must be really well played, or when it takes an important part of the song, he doesn't let it to anybody but him. But I've been amazed by something else : he had played, in the album "Low" : Harpe, Tape Horn, Bass strings, Saxophone, Violoncelle, Tape, Guitare, Pump Bass, Harmonica, Piano, Percussion, Chamberlain, Vibraphone, Xylophone, and Ambient Sound. It was written that "he is a genious of Pop-Rock music, and he is the unkonw great acoustic guitar player". I took care of that in 3 DVDs that I got, with 5 shows and interviews or story of his life, and they are right, he's playing 12-strings guitar (and 6 strings too, for sure) really well. And I've noticed not only that, cause in the show he gave for his 50th Birthday in 1997, like in another video where he's playing with Adrian Belew, he's playing electric guitar very well. A very passionating artist !!! CIAO BYE !

This interviewer just so clearly has strong disdain for David and throughout the entire interview just keeps trying to have a “gotcha” moment. Celtic Bird Your comment may be the most insightful and important one I've read on YT, and most important observation involving Bowie I've read anywhere, and he has had tomes devoted to him. Thank you. This of course, may be why so many are so devastated by his passing.

Oh my god

CIAO BYE !
his ums are so adorable i love this man
He was such an amazing intelligent man !!! I will always love him :-)
