Bowie+Pet Shop Boys = pure epic combo!

What a brilliant collaboration between those 3 beautiful and genial British gentlemen ! Everytime I visit London , I listen to both artists , and "Hallo Spaceboy" is now my official "London track" . I always visit David's mural in Brixton : I like to sit in front of it , listening to his songs on my iPod and watching people stop by and taking photos/selfies . Last time I've been there , I watched a Spanish family with 2 small kids : it's so nice to know that those children are probably going to develop a great taste in music as they grow up . R.I.P. David , and long live the PSB ! Your music will live forever !

absolute gem of a track. Shame the Brit organisers didn't let them do the full track. Both Bowie and Pet Shop Boys with their best looks for this one.

Adam Jones, I just posted why - I'll give you the links. It's pretty bloody legendary...the boys premiered this with Bowie as the opening of his performance when he won Outstanding Contribution To British Music. They would have been in raptures over getting to be a part of it and you're right, it's such a brilliant combo, one of my favourite PSB ones. I love the Pet Shop Boys version, I am a HUGE fan of the Pet Shop Boys and I really love this song. But this has nothing on the David Bowie "solo" version. That thing is pure blasting magic in soundwave form.

As a straight male, I have to hand it to these musical giants. Some of the best music is undoubtedly by non-straight artist ( gay lesbian whatever ). Personally it doesn't bother me, every one to their own persuasion as long as they don't impose on me. Having said that, I will be forever great-full to Bowie, the PSB and many others, for making my life all the richer and so much more enjoyable. The loss of David Bowie brings a lump to my throat, today 9th Jan 2020 was his birthday, tomorrow the anniversary of his departing. Rest in peace good spaceman.
