Absolutly a better version. Not to take away from the version you choose but I think its my least favorite.

This makes me so happy. It always hurts my heart when young people don’t know who Bowie was.

Dude, this is rad. What an awesome way to teach your daughter about different music. Aurora is amazing, thanks again for the introduction. Bowie released it on Hunky Dory '71. I agree that Jessica Lang killed it on AHS. You should check out Jesca Hoop - The Kingdom. She's like a female Tom Waits mixed with Bjork.

Thanks, man. Yeah, she loves music. Playing piano and wanting to do violin next. I just took her to the Freaks on Parade concert too with Zombie, Mudvayne, Static-X, and PM5K. She loved it.

Nice video! The video was made in 1973. Bowie was in his "Glam" Ziggy Stardust phase when this was made, which is why he looks that way in the video even though the song was released in 1971 on his "Hunky Dory" album which was a year before Ziggy.

RickWakeman played piano on this one one of David's most beautiful song always loved it since it came out last century when I wore younger clothes and was a raging R&R musician and now comes Aurora and there you go again I can see David would be really emotional and would certainly hug Aurora and love her eternally love how Aurora makes it, with so much respect hey, check there's a couple live versions Aurora playing a Rhodes and blowing you away great reax guys let the young lady that the subtitles are Portuguese they worship Aurora in Brazil she's good, this would be a much better world if more people would be able to know her she's good news bro

While this video was from 73 when Garson had joined Bowie, the song and this recording of it is the original from 71 and it is Rick Wakeman on the piano you are hearing, and who was pianist on the whole of the Hunky Dory album!

When you try to fit this video into the compact ration you're shoving it into it eliminates the scope of the original. Therefore you're going to lose the subject to background because the tightness of what you're demanding is overriding the need to follow the subject, David himself. If you made it really small it wouldn't bounce so much.

The appreciation of music can be quite subjective. To me boring would be if she had performed it the same as David Bowie. Here Aurora give us a completely different transformative version that takes me to an another place while still preserving the spirit of the song.
