David Bingham - The Invitation to Freedom

Discover how Lester Levenson described the levels of consciousness and how it relates to your own direct experience. Explore how your limiting thoughts and emotions are just invitations to suffer that you can decline. Learn how that which you truly are is always inviting you home. David Bingham joins Hale Dwoskin in this episode of “Letting Go & The Greatest Secret.”

What David Bingham is talking about is not welcoming but sounds like emotional repression--not a good idea.

First I thought so too, but I just realized that the term “decline” he uses means- not to engage with/into the negative emotions that come as invitations. So the Welcoming = not engaging/focusing/riding into the emotions , but to broaden the attention like zooming out of details of the emotions (like mind justifying it…) to a broad picture = declining the invitation to ride into the negative emotions. Same thing described in different ways with different words.
